I guess I could give it a shot, but I maintain a strong preference for picture books (and magazines).

just get a Prov.......

LOVE that you guys all came up with some ab-fab ideas for the little devices.

If you have some that you're mentioning, would you all mind doing some family/comparison shots? Sometimes we learn visually.

Pokes, for example, you've got quite a few of the bitties. Love to see the contrast/comparison pics.

LOL!!!!!!! Yeppers, she'll fall for anything!!!!!

Hiya mud, and welcome 'home', hon!

I'll be glad to do a photo montage but it will have to wait until at least Monday. Life is going to be "ugly" between now & then!

You may, or may not, have 2 years, @Frocket. While what's out there now presumably has that long to become "certified", hard to say how long shops will stay open - B&M or online. There have already been reports of credit card outfits dropping vendors because they sell "tobacco products"...

But keep an eye out for sales on gear you like, and get 'em while you can!

There is one report of one liquids vendor losing her credit card processing. And she got services from a different credit card processor in less than 24 hours.

GREAT NEWS.....I got a credit card processor and will be live at midnight CST. YAHOO

Welp, here's to beautifying your life, pokes! :toast:

I'll look forward to Monday. And rainy days, too.

Do any minis have 5w setting?

Nic, most of those new(er) mods can be wonky below 6 watts. They don't really step down as they should. The Cool Fire 4 is one of the better ones at lower wattages. The only way to be sure is to: 1) pick a mod you like, 2) read the specs, and 3) watch Phil Busardo's YouTube review. He tests them on his scope and shows what they are really capable of--in real life.

I like my Cool Fire 4, iStick 30, and Defender 36W, but I rarely go under 6 watts anymore.

Or, like others are suggesting, get a more precise mod with an external battery. But check Phil's reviews anyway--just to be sure.

Let's keep fighting with all we've got. Maybe the majority will survive.

Optimistic? I've been called worse. ;)

Yeah. I hope ProVape survives. But even if they do, no innovation will be allowed or rather feasible. This is so wrong...

If you don't find a review of the mod you want by Phil Busardo, check out DJLsb Vapes. He runs the mods through a very similar wringer.

Reading comprehension issues. I blame the FDA. So sorry. Please disregard my (useless) advice on the subject...

I need 1 or 2 mini regulated mods, without internal battery, for very low wattage vaping, so I can be more deeming immune. Otherwise, I'd be perfectly happy sticking with mini ego.

Not much clue where to start and what to consider.

Indeed. Thanks for catching my mistake, Rick!

Didn't even know it was a mistake sweetie - I just didn't understand the point. It seemed like you were having a Captain Obvious moment. lol

All the dooming threads I have been in have been expressing wants for reliable stuff and preferences for just about anything with a replaceable stock battery, the assumption being the FDA intent to regulate "intention" of use is ridiculous and impossible to enforce. Some times a battery is just a battery - and most certainly not a "tobacco product."

The KSD VAmo box 25 watt is great if you can find any. Uses 18350s
I really like how small this one is. The istick pico is a bit taller.

Would there be any reason I couldn't use my ego tanks with it? I have 510 to ego adapters. They're protanks minis and aero 2's.

Same question re istick pico.

I cordially invite them to attempt aerial intercourse with a rapidly rotating piece of perforated pastry.

No reason not to. Perfect little mod for that application.

Vonnegut would be proud!!

Thanks for clarifying that, Rick. Glad the vendor got it sorted out. But with the dooming making vape tobacco, it's likely to be coming at least for online purchases, as it is now for true tobacco products... :(
