I did a trip up to Labrador City in Canada (1200mile north of NYC). There was a section of the highway that wasn't paved, all gravel for about 200 miles. It was an epic ride

I wish my gravel road looked that good. They used big rocks and called it gravel.

Honestly with tc and vw up to 40w it blows the nugget out of the water.
It is definitely better looking then the Nugget, but like you said,no TC, 10W less and from what I gather they have the tendency to die easily which blows all other arguments out of the water for me personally.

Nope, oil pressure sender failed and spewed oil everywhere. The sender was in between the V so everything had to come off to get to it. 3 hrs and some JB weld later, we were back on the road.Oh crap. Did you crash in the gravel. What a ride that must have been. Love the little dirt bike.
I think there was one but it petered out pretty quick.
And to get back on topic, my Mini Volt landed at my local Fedex hub and ETA was updated to Friday delivery instead of Sat. Took 4 days to cross the country and it'll take 4 days to travel 15 miles

'86 Honda CB700 Nighthawk S, this color scheme only came out in the USA and in that year so it's pretty rare in general, let alone over here in NL.
And the Beast:
My daily driver, a Yamaha TDM900. Not much to look at imo, but pretty much maintenance free and such an awesome bike to ride.

Ok, I caved. I have no self-control when it comes to vape gear. I've GOT to stop looking at this thread.

Since they are the resident experts on itty bitty mods I pulled the trigger. I backed out once but then said "Oh the hell" and hit BUY. That door better not be a pain because I'm thinking that this would be a good stealth mod since you can't see the panel light up. You 2 are the biggest enabler.

Oh man, nice! I like the Nighthawk and that might have been my next bike.
Thanks. I took her around the Alps at one point but these days she only comes out when the weather is nice. They're fun bikes and pretty advanced for the period, but good ones are a hard find these days. You might have to get your hands dirty and fix one up yourself
Plenty of info and helpful, knowledgeable folks at the Nighthawk forum if you're serious though.
But but but..... it's just a little 5 clicks.
I dunno, Cap'n. That's a tough dilemma. I take mine out in my purse, but I'm generally a) very careful and 2) checking it all the time. It's a huge shame that some are having probs with the locking mechanism. The really would have made this mod near perfection.

I can't think of a better thread to become a double guru. I've had a lot of fun here. There are a lot of good people, funny people and enablers here that keep trying to spend my money but that's ok cuz I've been called an enabler a time or 2.

I know, right? I figured it was worth it for a few buck more to order from the states.
I'm not a big fan of internal batteries either unless I build them myself but I've replaced internal batteries before and it's not that hard so it doesn't really bother me. DNA200/75's are so big that I missed having a tiny mod. I have a VS DNA40 which is pretty small but the Mini Volt is even smaller! I wasn't thrilled about the 1200mah battery which is why I was hesitant to pull the trigger.

Nice bike, brother! I am licensed to ride, but didn't for very long. When SO had to quit because of the onset of M.S., we got rid of both bikes (they were little itty bitty 250s that were perfect for tootling around town!) I'm not experienced enough to carry a passenger, and SO doesn't have the balance to be on a two-wheeler any more
