Agreed!

And no, Delilah. I actually save the boxes to repurpose them (all vape related). Every box makes me think... [emoji6]

My two mini mods have been getting a lot of use, instead of being put away as planned, for when I might need them.

I've gotten used to both (Provari 2.5 mini and istick Pico). At first, I was squeezing the Pico to fight gravity when holding it up for vaping. Somehow, without realizing it, I had begun to hold it (and the P2.5mini) with my pinky on the bottom, allowing me to hold it very loosely when vaping it. That also allows me to flip it around and use my thumb on the button comfortably. So, no longer awkward feeling.

I downloaded the firmware update for the Pico, but decided against updating it, because the updated wattage mode display doesn't show the voltage used to achieve the chosen wattage. It also adds a "Smart Mode" that sounds somewhat useful, but not much needed by me:
The Smart mode will save one output power setting for each resistance value and can totally save ten groups of such profiles. Once you change the output power setting for a resistance, it will re-save the changed setting automatically. When the Smart mode has already remembered ten profiles and you want to add another new resistance, the first saved profile will be deleted.

One thing I like, is it's much easier to see how much voltage the battery will still deliver by switching to bypass mode than with the Provari. Real quick and easy to do that and change back to wattage mode. I've been recharging when it gets down to about 3.7v, but I'm wondering what would be best for battery longevity. I've read before what would be ideal, but can't remember. Would it be around 3.6?

One thing I REALLY like about using the mini mods, is that now when I use my ego minis, they feel SO tiny, and I like them more than ever! But I'm also really enjoying longer battery life, especially with the Pico.

I've been having a tough time deciding which rebuildables to try, wishing I could use protank coils on a big tank, and just learn to rebuild those, which looks to be fairly easy.

I decided to buy a protank 2 (I've been usinng pt2 minis up 'til now), but was thinking, "Why in the world did no one make a large tank that used those single coil protank heads?" The next day, I started thinking, "Why in the world am I assuming no one has?". I quickly found several to try, and will be buying this weekend. I just wish some of them were shorter. Wide (22 or 23 inches) and short would be ideal for both P2mini and Pico.

I'm liking these - 22mm:

They're still 4ml but are shorter than the eleaf GS Air Ms** that I have. Top loading, airflow also on the top - less leaks - spiral drip tip - no spitting - and they have an RBA available:

http://www.heavengifts.com/UD-Prebuilt-Coils-Kanthal-A1-26GA-ID28-1ohm.html

** just to be clear, that's plural - GS Air M is the bigger/taller one (4-5ml), GS Air MS is the smaller one (2ml).

premade non-RBA coils:

Suggest the Clapton 1.5Ω

I didn't realize there was a v2 hypertank. Does v2 take care of the problem of airflow being cut off on some mods? Is that even an issue with the Pico and the Provari? Looks to me like the Provari shoud be fine, but maybe not the Pico. Anybody know?
good luck

Thanks!
Happy 4th :D

You too!

Thanks, Kent. I'm looking to vape mostly around 5 watts. I've been often going even a lot lower with these two mods. It's getting me very lazy about getting the nic % accurate when I can just adjust wattage. How low can the Cubis Pro go?

Well you could put the 1.5 ohm coil in (or build a 2.0 - 2.5 coil) and just adjust your wattage in your pico to suit. The coils that come with the Cubis Pro are .25, .6 and 1.5, so get some extra Clapton 1.5's

They're also shorter than any tank I have except the GS Air MS's which are only 2ml... They're the same height but the MS's are 19 whereas the Cubis are .22. and unlike the GS Airs, and most of the kangers, you can fill them up to the top :- )

Oh no! It's taking the DPLongo route. Really sorry. There's still one more mail day before the :censored: holiday.
I think it plans to stop in Aspen for the Ideas Festival. I just hope it doesn't decide to go to the Independent Country of Texas. It'll have to pass through Customs to get to Florida.

When did your Rolo ship? Mine was yesterday, and I'm hoping for quick receipt. Otherwise Tuesday :(
Mine had its labeling on the 26th, and was in USPS's usually-capable hands on the 27th.

Nic, don't get hung up on the numbers. Just adjust to taste. Different types of coils and juices will have different requirements, even for us light tootlerists.

The GoodPrice-NoSupport guys. Same as you. NWV.

They got it out promptly. This one is all on USPS. And I'm a fan of USPS.

S'ok; I'm not hurting for a vape. I can wait. :thumb:

Are you sure, VT? You have another working mod? Maybe something old & beat up that you can suffer through with?

[emoji6]

Fingers crossed that it gets there today. Pay attention to to their crack reporting system. I've received things that were still showing, "Shipping label created", then have gotten "Delivered" notices one week after receipt.

Wonderful.

I've seen thing appear to be in Shenzhen and my mailbox at the same time. It's a Quantum Physicsalie Vaping thing. You can predict the probability of a device's location, but there is never certainty.
