Why are they calling this teeny tiny micro mod a macro mod?

Macro-Microscopic? :w00t:

And besides, it's all relative to the overall size in my book. Take that 70mm device and add a KV5. Now your device stands at around 130mm. Take that same V5 and put it in my XvoStick and you are under 110mm. So saying it's the smallest single 18650 mod maybe be "technically" true, it's still poo-poo in my book :D

I know this much - it's small.

The 40 watt version is essentially the same size as my old Cloupor Minis... the 75 looks like it might be bigger. Of course, their claim is conditioned with the Evolv chip.

No such thing as a "non-evolve" DNA 40, they hold the rights to that name. Anything else claiming to be a DNA 40 is just a cloners knock off and who knows what you will get...

Thanx k2zs...

For an 8W-11W MTL Tootle Puffer...who is quite satisfied with NON-TC vaping...

Would there be anything to be gained by spending the extra $'s to try a DNA Mod???

Only thing gained with buying a genuine DNA chip in your case is the quality of a Made in the USA chip versus much of the garbage spilling out of China. :)

well darn'd if I didn't about ½ talk myself into one of those eVic Basics (for wife)
just too small for my likings

1500mah
better screen & clock
pico kinda controls
like $33 with no tank

Hey @pufZeppelin did you play around with your wife's Evic Basic enough to answer a couple questions???

(Yesterday received the Evic Basic I ordered from MFS.)

1.) What is the "Screen Protection Time"? (The Manual shows how to set it...but not what it is.)

2.) The Manual says (under "How to set the time"): "The Evic Basic has two ways of time displaying: Dial Display and Numerical Display for your preference." But it doesn't show how to choose the Display you want?

..

haha, I read just part about ME getting e Basic and paid no attention to your question
I'm sure it is the same as my VTwo to set up and use...

1)•when it 'flashes' over to full clock face - that's what they call Screen Protection // hold fire button & (+) button to set screen saver on time

2)•to choose which display to use...
3 clk - mode flash
(-) down button,till COMPLETE date Flashes !
(+) up button, switches back-n-forth dial clock or digital clock

I like digital clock because it also shows the date

Macro: 74mm by 35mm by 22mm =56980mm^3
Pico: 45mm by 23mm by 70.5mm =72967.5mm^3

It's taller, but has less volume. It's only 40 watts, so I think it a no go for me. Now if it was the new DNA60.
I'm not sure about the TC, it mentions it, but doesn't give temp specs., other than:
"Temperature Controlled Output: 0.1 ohm Minimum Temperature Controlled Compatible Atomizer Resistance."

I really need to un-subscribe to this thread

Sbody DNA40 heading to Massachusetts.

Got the Silver (no black) $59.99 delivered. Don't recon I'll find a DNA board for that price in such a great package any where else. I love the size and form of my Cloupor mini+ and this looks to be a wee bit smaller and lighter.
