Enabler... :)

KTM, I'm not against TC in principle, just my first tries didn't give me an improved vape over my Kanthal, so I sorta gave up on it. But I may revisit it again. Some time. Soon.

And speaking of Kayfuns--I've seen Prime clones on FT and 3FV. Time for a new attack thread? ;)

It's more of a safety thing. I get the same but more consistent vape over kanthal.

From what I've seen, the Prime is just a 2ml version of the KF5 for Yurrup.

Iffin ya do, PLEASE link me.

As you wish...

;)

Yup. These days I regularly vape my tanks completely dry, then switch flavors without even changing the wick. I mostly only check my tank levels just before heading out of the house. With TC dry hits are a thing of the past.

Think you’ve got something there. With low-wattage builds you have sufficient warning before your tank goes dry. There’s that slight burnt flavor that creeps up at the very end of the fill.

Liked that word “tankly”. Immediately understood it; no explanation needed. :D
I've done this too. Convenient when you want to try a different juice. The only times I've had dry hits is with SS wire but I think I figured it out and it's been a while since my last dry hit.

Speaking of which...
I've been vaping Broke Dick juice (Prepaid (berries) and Water Cup (fruit punch)) for the past week or so. Cheap and really good juice. I turned a few guys onto them and was able to give them a link for $5 off their order. They have a BOGO for 120ml bottles.

Not quite. It's an MTL tank--1.2-2 mm diameter airflow hole (under the coil). Might be too tight for some (me:D). My favorite AF is K4, but I've been enjoying the K5 more and more (without modifications). I don't understand why SM is going either too airy (3.2 mm) or too tight (2 mm tops). Nothing in the middle.

More like young Bobby Dylan, before he went 'letric. ;)

Lol. Never was a real fan before or after - not dissing his ability/influence. "Like a Rolling Stone" premiered that night - prefer the Hendrix (Monterey) version. "here's a song by Bob Dylan.... there's his grandma over there"... "Let me bore your for about 6 or 7 minutes....I know I missed a verse, don't worry”. :- )

Wiki:
"Bob Dylan's 1963 and 1964 performances solo and with Baez had made him popular with the Newport crowd, but on July 25, 1965 festival headliner Dylan was booed by some fans when he played with backing band The Paul Butterfield Blues Band.

It is usually said that the reason for the hostile reception by a small number of fans was Dylan's "abandoning of the folk orthodoxy, or poor sound quality on the night (or a combination of the two). The controversy regarding the reaction of the audience at this event is often overplayed, as it was not the general reaction of the audience, but rather that of a small number of folk "purists", including Pete Seeger. The reaction of "the crowd" to Dylan's performance, certainly from eyewitness accounts, was generally quite enthusiastic."

I would have been part of the 'quite enthusiastic' part of the crowd - Michael Bloomfield being a 'hero' for this guitar player.... The "Butterfield Band" was minus Paul Butterfield that night.. :- )

I do 'clapton' if it's prewired in a premade coil lol....

Mike Bloomfield and Al Kooper: Super Session. Great double album. “Live Adventures...” was good too.

Yup. Bloomfield was hot back in the day!

Yep. Fathers and Sons as well - Muddy and Otis Spawn, et al. He was playing blues when Clapton was doing 'For Your Love' with the Yardbirds. Still:

K - I gotta check them out. Thanks!

The only thing I know with a title close to that was a tune by Cat Stevens. Heh.

It's funny, Kent, because as I was typing out my absurd & arcane guitarist references, the exact thought I had was Dylan at Newport.

Good read, you. :thumb:

To be honest, I'm not a huge fan either (there are a few songs...), but I felt like it was perfect when I wrote it. That happens to me a lot. Then I go back, read what I wrote, and wonder what I was thinking at the time.:blink::facepalm:

A good song with similar ideas in some ways ( "I was once like you are now, and I know that it's not easy" - hence 'blues'), but different too. :)

The Fathers and Sons had a great album cover that says all about that time in blues - who the real Gods were....lol

Well, the 'popular' view was exactly as you say - the 'folk' audience was not pleased, but some of the comments (behind the boos) were for the quality of the sound system rather than the electric - although that was part of it for some, which I fully understand from a 'folk perspective'. It pumped up Bloomfield's career a bit. Dylan's lyrics are unquestionably good. Liked his contributions to the Travelling Wilburys. And...

Love absurd and arcane guitar references

Sinuous p80. Love this mod. I really do. Ive got huge irish shovels for hands and i have to say this thing is just tiny. Its like having a tube in my hand and its regulated and small. Looks great, performs great and is cheap.

This is somebody who only ever used to buy high end. Love how vaping has changed that cheap mods are top end now.
