Hey, interesting - do these things work better than just using the drugstore magnifying reader glasses?

I had cataract surgery a few years ago. With my consent the doc set my vision at about 16". So I don't need anything for the computer, reading most stuff and rarely put my glasses on except to watch TV or drive. So that's all good. But my former closeup, see down the the molecular level vision is gone! And the +3.5 jobs they sell at the drug store are not quite enough, and they also fall off when I look down. I really need, I think, +4 or +4.5, which are not so easy to find.

I slap them right on over the glasses. No reason to inconvenience myself by swapping out. Lazy, I.

I snapped a pic once and sent it to my manager (who also happens to be a Kat-level friend), while in the midst of wrestling with some Japanese translation files. She's a major geek (and half-nerd too), and was hysterical. She snorted.
