What was the total of your order for which the charged shipping was $8+ ???
Mod was $14.19, shipping was $8.01. Total was $22.20. I know I am in for a wait, but I have plenty of mods to use in the meantime.
I ordered an Aspire Odyssey Mini from Eight Vape. I have ordered from them before (they are located in Las Vegas, USA) with no problems. This one arrived DOA. Arrived on a Saturday (a week ago Saturday). Would not turn on. Tried to do an online ticket, their system would not let me in. Customer support only open Monday - Friday, 9-5 PST. OK, so Monday I called, and waited on ignore for over 2 1/2 hours!!!! Finally a tech answered. I started the conversation with "I have been vaping for over 6 years, so this is not a newbie error!" and explained the problem. OK, he will send an RMA and label to return. All I received was "We have created a new service account for you." Nothing else. Requests to reset my customer service password - "We have received a request to reset your password. If you did not make this request let us know". I could log onto their website just fine, the Support system wouldn't let me in. I told this tech that too....
Well, later in the day I tried again, this time 1 1/2+ hours on ignore. This tech directly emailed me the return label so I shipped it off. Haven't heard anything since. I did track the package and they received it last Thursday. I guess if I don't hear anything, or receive a replacement that works, by the end of the week, I guess more time on their support line ignore. (for those who might not get "ignore", it's being on hold, listening to the same dull elevator music the whole time, with an occasional "Your call is important to us. blah blah blah". And this is a US company I have dealt with several times and never had a problem.
Oh, the response to my online support problems, "must be a glitch in our system, I will let our IT department know". I have not tried again... hum, maybe I will go do that!
