I've dealt with Sourcemore twice and it's been odd so far.

My first order used a discount code they published here on ECF and after it was placed they contacted me and said the code was a mistake and would I pay a higher price. I refused and they shipped the order. That was over a year ago.

Recently they had a sale on one of my favorite (discontinued) mods and the color I wanted showed as in stock. I decided to take a chance and ordered a few days before the Chinese New Year. Last Thursday they emailed me that it was not in stock and asked me to change to a different color, bright green or blue instead of black. I declined and asked for a refund. They replied Saturday asking me to wait until it comes back in stock after the holiday. I'm pretty sure it was a standard response and these will not be restocked. I'm not sure I'll be able to resolve this until after the holiday.

I've had very few issues with vendors in the states or overseas, but my only two orders with Sourcemore have been a headache.

Mod was $14.19, shipping was $8.01. Total was $22.20. I know I am in for a wait, but I have plenty of mods to use in the meantime.

I ordered an Aspire Odyssey Mini from Eight Vape. I have ordered from them before (they are located in Las Vegas, USA) with no problems. This one arrived DOA. Arrived on a Saturday (a week ago Saturday). Would not turn on. Tried to do an online ticket, their system would not let me in. Customer support only open Monday - Friday, 9-5 PST. OK, so Monday I called, and waited on ignore for over 2 1/2 hours!!!! Finally a tech answered. I started the conversation with "I have been vaping for over 6 years, so this is not a newbie error!" and explained the problem. OK, he will send an RMA and label to return. All I received was "We have created a new service account for you." Nothing else. Requests to reset my customer service password - "We have received a request to reset your password. If you did not make this request let us know". I could log onto their website just fine, the Support system wouldn't let me in. I told this tech that too....

Well, later in the day I tried again, this time 1 1/2+ hours on ignore. This tech directly emailed me the return label so I shipped it off. Haven't heard anything since. I did track the package and they received it last Thursday. I guess if I don't hear anything, or receive a replacement that works, by the end of the week, I guess more time on their support line ignore. (for those who might not get "ignore", it's being on hold, listening to the same dull elevator music the whole time, with an occasional "Your call is important to us. blah blah blah". And this is a US company I have dealt with several times and never had a problem.

Oh, the response to my online support problems, "must be a glitch in our system, I will let our IT department know". I have not tried again... hum, maybe I will go do that!

Sounds like the problems that I've been having with them.

I had ordered a few things from them and one of the mods came with buttons that didn't work. The process of getting in touch with them and making arrangements to send in the defective mod was a little irritating, but not insurmountable.

For the 3 weeks after tracking said they had received my returned package, I kept trying to contact them through their ticket system and couldn't Finally after 3 weeks, I called them and sat on hold for 45 minutes.

They said they had sent the replacement package a couple of weeks ago. Sent to the WRONG address. They said they would send a replacement immediately, to the correct address. That was a week and a half ago. I'll find out tomorrow at work if it's arrived yet. It hadn't arrived Friday (which it should have).

I guess it's time to call them and sit on hold for an hour. Maybe just give my money back. I'm fed up with it.

Like you, I could log onto the website, but not the customer service section.

    Received emails tonight to change my password (don't know if support will work) and that my replacement will ship tomorrow.

    The Odyessy Mini is such a cute, tiny, 20/30 watt iStick sized external battery mod I hope it works this time. I held it and loved it. Fingers crossed.

    Interesting others are having support issues with Eight Vape. I have been pleased in the past but never had a problem.

    I pay with PP and use the same tactics when they give me a hard time. My favorite exchange from years ago with an otherwise good vendor:

    Me:
    The chimney (chamber) ring is stuck in the base and can't be removed or even pushed up or down by hand. I tried rubber gloves, towels, etc.--it won't come out. I don't want to use pliers because I don't want to damage the part. Besides, I need to be able to remove it and push it up and down by hand for normal operation (coiling and wicking).

    I'm not enclosing a picture because the defect will not show in a picture--the item looks normal, but the chimney is stuck.

    Vendor:
    Sorry to hear those issues. The supplier requires proof of defect for warranty. Would you mind provide us a video to show the problem as it seems a photo can't help in this case? We apologize for the inconvenience caused.

    What a difference a week makes! Last week temps were in the single digits & today its 62 degrees here & just brilliant! :thumbs:

    I was wondering...

    if I am the only who is always looking for the next great little itty bitty mod. :blush: For example, dear @DPLongo22 posted a link a great price for the CB80 and of course I checked out the link. Before you know it I was checking out all mods at that link!:facepalm::laugh:

    Then I saw a Rose Gold colored mod... next thing you know I am doing a search for Rose Gold colored itty bitty mods :facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::laugh::laugh::laugh:

    I think I am obsessed with LIBMs! :w00t::lol:

    I have a great affinity for furry friends and I too am offended by pet owners who intentionally frighten their pets for a laugh! :( One of my doggie girls has a heart murmur & as a result I do my utmost best to give her as stress free life as possible. I cannot imagine scaring her on purpose and then recording it on video! :glare:
