lock the airflow ring on a nemesis clone

hello, just a quick question: how can i block the damп nemesis airflow ring so both holes are always lined up? should i use glue? i heard some guys just drill the holes while the ring is on the top cap and the ring stays there in the process (like forever there), but i don't have fine drill bits to do so. any ideas?

Wrap some dental floss under the O ring to make it tighter, attach atty, then line up the holes with the two dimples and

just an update: my rubber o-ring broke so i just cleaned both surfaces with alcohol and superglued the ring onto the dаmn cap with the holes alligned. its a great feeling to know you always get a good, stable grip when you unscrew it. might superglue my replacement top cap too.
