I just had a panic moment. The lock ring on my Stingray clone locked up hard while at work. It was too slick to get enough of a grip on it. I looked and looked for something to get a better grip on it. The cord for a pair of ear buds works perfectly. Just wrapped half way around the ring and the grip was there. Just soething to file away so if it happens in the office or while out and about, there's usually some ear buds around.
