I'm still not a fan of the looks, but it looks okay with my Atomic which is what I currently use most.

I'm slightly concerned with the lack of vent holes. It's not air tight, but there is only a small bit of air that can get out through the switch. I haven't decided, but I might have someone drill holes in the larger tube for vents.

The locking mechanism is great! I did flip the locking ring around to spin the opposite direction. I'm a leftie and it's easier for me that way.

The switch is great too. Really smooth.

Thats something I've never even looked at, it really doesn't vent but through the switch and like you said, not much. Have you had to locktite those hex screws in the locking mechanism yet? After a few days I got tired of constantly backing them back out and bought some, no more loose lock ring:D

The screws haven't given me any issues, but I just got it Saturday. Then this morning I flipped the ring. I'll see how it goes. I dread the idea of taking those tiny things out. My luck I'd drop them.

Haven't decided if I want to drill it. I'm worried a bunch of dirt/dust would get in it too easily because there would be a lot of airspace. Still weighing the pros and cons.

I'll suggest the 4nine mod or its much cheaper clone, link below. Its a recessed button design that isn't completely recessed. There are cutouts on each side. The picture shows it better than my description.
$31.82 4Nine Mod - Silver(1X18650/1X18350/1X18490)(For Advanced Users)

Thanks to those that suggested the 4nine, but I'm really not interested in something with zero locking. Locking is a needed feature for me.

Unless you're using the 4nine to climb mountain faces, it won't fire. It's a smart design..the button has to be pushed straight in..

So unless you have a situation to where you have something like a caulk gun to push the button straight up tube, it's not going to fire.

Edit- and the throw is all on exact length of battery and your atomizer's pin. Can be dangerous with an Atomizer with a pin that's shorter than threads with the hybrid 510 cap..

I layed out on the floor and put them on a pater towel when I did it. I figured the same thing, that I did not want to go through the trouble searching for those lil buggers.

I'm really liking the looking at the copper 4nine, I'm considering that or a Paps Lux clone next.
