Locking Ring Malfunction

I recently (within the week) bought an Infinite Panzer Black Hawk Clone. Long story short, the locking ring's threads seem stripped and will not lock in either position. It just constantly spins. Is there any fix to this problem or do I need to talk to my B&M store about getting some sort of replacement?

Talk to the store if you just got it recently. I've heard of this happening before, but on older well used mods.

Update:

The shop swapped it out for another Black Hawk clone.

This one is machined MUCH BETTER. The engravings are deeper, there is no black paint on the threads (which are much smoother) and the contacts look like solid brass.

It was in the display case lol.
