I have two mods from Smoktech that I use frequently: the Prospect e-pipe, and the Sidewinder 18650. Both have magnetic switches that work very well, and both have the same reverse thread lock system. It's pretty fool proof. I can put either in my pocket and have never had it fire accidentally when I have the lock out set. I was really unsure at first, but I've become a big fan of the magnetic switches.

The magnetic switch really interests me to I was looking at the magneto as a choice, but I watched pbsuardo review and he showed how it the switch came undo it just auto fires, I was having second thoughts. Thanks for for the input.

So I've done my research on mech safety, batteries, shorts, ect. But havnt really read or heard much about which mechs have the best locks / locking rings. I want something with a good reliable lock that can go in a pocket or be left on the table without worrying about firing. I recently bought a panzer clone that was supposed to have a lock and it didn't and after researching the panzer cuz I thought I wasn't unlocking it right it appears as though they don't have the smoothest lock. so now I'm pretty skeptical of eBay mechs so im looking at something from 101vapes maybe..... I'm not rich so a clone is about all I can afford $40-50 range. Maybe another panzer or magneto?

Eddurmacate me please

I only have three mechs. An origin, Caravela, and Nemesis. Out of the three, my most reliable locking system is the Caravela hands down.

The origin is too hard to locate and usually gets stuck in the locked position
The caravella is smooth and easy to lock with half a twist.. no matter what battery I use.
The Nemesis has a smooth chrome like surface that easily slips. it takes about 5-10 turns to fully lock/unlock it, and it will frequently get stuck in either locked or unlocked position and I have to fiddle with it to get it locked/unlocked. I plan on putting some sort of rubber grip to help, but it will still take a long time to lock/unlock it if I do.

Anyways, just my opinions.
