As I vape more and more, get new and different e-liquids, different mods, batteries, heads, cartos, tanks... etc. I find myself sometimes wondering "did I try this liquid before in this particular head with this resistance before?" My memory not being what it once was, I discovered that I was not remember the details of previous configurations (the good, the bad, and the ugly).

Does anyone record their experiences?

I guess that it's a bit obsessive-compulsive of me, but I am now using a spreadsheet to track-and-record things (by e-liquid) like tank-fills, carto/coil/head changes, resistance, VG/PG blend, nicotine concentration, etc.. This allows me to see how long a particular head/coil/cart lasts with a particular liquid, track and remember differences if I change resistance, and so on.

Is this sort of logging common or uncommon? Is there an app, database, website or other tool that someone (who is far more proficient with the tools than I) has made and that other folks know about and use?

The Evic keeps a journal for you of sorts. I can't say I keep any logs or anything but if you're looking for some way to automate this process maybe looking into an evic is worth it.
I've seen some vid-reviews and demos of the Evic software. It does appear to be pretty cool, but it is mod-specific and based on what I saw, tends to focus on the use of the mod itself. Data such as average draw duration, total number of draws, draws per hour, voltage and wattage... all good info, but not really what my memory needs help with.

I guess that I am mostly tracking my e-liquids (consumption, performance, taste, etc.) as it relates to different heads/cartos/coils/resistance etc.

I'll take a closer look into the Evic and its tracking software. Thanks for the suggestion!

I thought that I would include a screen shot of what I am using/talking about.

This is just one tab, I track based on juice and have pull-downs for carto-brand, resistance, holes, etc. As I get different head-types and atomizers, I will modify and increase the options.

So, is this sort of thing being obsessive-compulsive or a good way for me to track my usage, what liquid works best with a particular coil/resistance, and so on?

How are others keeping their experiences straight? Trial and error? Good memory? (which I clearly don't have)
