I have 3 Odin V1s, which I had set aside, because I prefer 18mm attys, especially on metal Reos. My metals have 2 Atomics (RM4) and 2 Nuppins. When I got my first 2015 Woodvil, I put one of my Odins on it. The 22mm attys look great on the new Woodvils. On the other 2 Woodvils, I currently have 1 Manta2 and 1 Rogue. Currently, if I had to pick a favorite, it would be the Manta2.

My Odins opened my eyes to the world of air, coming from an RM2. Once I hit a Derringer, I sold them. Flavor's too important to me, Odins aren't an option. The lack of flavor regardless of even low ohm twisted builds was inescapable after 3~ months of playing with builds.

Odins are bullet proof and very, very, very well made - easy build - an unflavored vapers dream come true IMO. Great atty, cool engraving and I don't even like engravings but the ravens are sick.

But a waste of juice for Sloth - I at least want decent flavor, hence I run Derringers and a rem and hopefully a couple vectors soon. My Rogue I recently acquired = backup, Odinesque flavor, nicer atty though.

My two cents. nothing more. :)

The Odin V2 is pretty awesome but I'm really liking these top air attys these days :)

I do too. Right now, on my 3 Woodies, I'm running an Odin V1, a Rogue, and a Manta2. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be the Manta. It's right up there with the Nuppin, for 'knock your socks off' flavor.

RULE62........yes, that is why I am dying to have one of those Manta v2 attys. I hope I can get the money for one before too much time passes. I also hope he keeps them in stock. If it is just a short run, I'm gonna be up a creek.

It's a winner, that's for sure. The clones are hit or miss, as far as the orientation of the wire holes. Some of them are offset, in weird directions, and not parallel with each other. Not a real big deal. It just requires a little extra fiddling with the coil legs, when installing. The authentics are much nicer. Perfectly aligned and parallel with each other; but more than twice the price. I got a catfish clone first, and liked it so well, I got an authentic.

TBH, I really *love* the vapor the Odin puts out, but after giving it a full month or 2, I find I just can't do DTL hits, so I'm back to my trusty RM2. The DTL hits gave me a quite unpleasant cough and congestion, nada with the RM2 (MTL).

This is me, too. I just found that I'm not a lung-hitter after messing around with the Odin for a while. First time I built it and fired it up, I finally got to experience what nicotine overload felt like! Also wasn't all that thrilled about the overhang from the bigger atty, it hampered my habit of opening the door and letting it click shut! It's a really nice, high quality piece of work though.

Another reason why I don't care for 22mm attys on metal Reos.
I can 'click' the door with my RM4s and Nuppins.
But the 22mm attys do look great on the new Woodvils.

Why not just run it single coil? Thats what I do. Its a fantastic single coil atty!
Build single coil in front of this air slot.

I run it in single coil mode with the air hole closed off about this much.

Give it a shot in single coil mode before you give up on it! It really is super!

Hmm, are you saying you get as much vapor running a single as with dual coils? Doing MTL hits?

I could live with the overhang, it's the DTL I can't do.

Well I'm not saying it's a cloud chucker in single coil mode, but it's certainly a satisfying amount of vapor AND flavor for me. I'm a MTL vaper all the time and it really performs this way in my opinion! My go to coil setup is a 1.3 ohm 28g 10 wrap coil on a 1.6mm microscrewdriver. Try it out!

Maybe I'll revisit it, but I did try it with duals and with the airholes closed almost all the way to get the draw I like, but honestly, that way, it just vaped like the RM2.

You're right. It vapes a lot like the RM2. Its more if a looks thing for me. I like the look of the Reo with the bigger atties on it, that's why I use the Odin so much.

I find that dual coils with the afc closed quite down (a la ckquatt's photo) let's you do MTL with much more vapor than a stock RM2 provides.

The Odin is really quite versatile as far as it's build and vape style range.

My only issue is that, pound for pound, it's not the flavour machine that the RM2 is. 22mm atties like the Derringer, Marquis, and Bonsai let you do a similar "lusty" MTL with better flavour (in my experience).

got my V2 Odin's a couple days ago. really like the increased airflow. also, while I really appreciate the top airflow of the RM7/Rogue and appreciate the Nuppin for what it is--nothing hits quite like an Odin and nothing seems as durable and indestructible. basically it's my favorite atty when I really want a good hit. the RM7/Rogue is my out-&-about atty, because it hits great and doesn't leak. the Nuppin seems to have the best flavor.

still have a Derringer on the way.

Will probably sell a couple V1's, now that I have my V2's. But the Odin is still the ...., as far as I'm concerned.

That's a reason I dislike the atty actually. It hits much stronger than I'd like. Never got what I considered a smooth hit from an odin. But yeah, agreed fully with what you're saying. Very true stuff.
