How do these people do it? I can't go over 60W without getting the dry hit taste. 1 Second drag, okay, 2 Second, Okay. Anything more the cotton will dry out and I get the nasty Dry Hit taste. I'm on a 24G Nichrome 6Wrap around a 3mm at .2 Ohms. My mod is a sigelei 150W TC. rda is a Kennedy Comp.

I want to take 4-5 Second Hits and create nice thick juicy vapor. @ 24G Nichrome, how many wraps around how many MM can this be achieved? I don't care about sub Ohming, I care about thick juicy vapor.

I use kanthal, regular wrapped coils, duals, .2 resistance at 75-85 watts depending on juice. I use max vg juice and I can take long hits. You might not have enough cotton. It needs to be tight in the coils and have plenty of extra cotton for tucking the tails and underneath the coil. Dont go kight. Also, SATURATE those coils and cotton ALOT. I can usually do 8 drops o'er side of juice, and can roughly hit mine 4-6 times before having to re-saturate.

They are probably using funky coils like claptons that hold on to a lot of juice
or you might be using too much cotton...use just enough to touch the deck and no hard angles

I keep trying to rewick. But i still get the dry hit, and the ends of the wicks are juicy. If I take a hit and let it rest for a little bit it will be ready to hit again. The problem is when I hold the fire button for more than 2 seconds, I get the nasty flavor

That's definitely strange.. I'm using my IPV3LI at around 70 watts with my Atty Squared V3 RDA and it'a got a deep juice well. You really have to get the right amount of cotton not too much or not too little to keep it going well. I fill it up and can easily get 3 second drags off of it that produce HUGE vapor clouds. I usually only need to do 1-2 second draws and I'll get about 15 drags off the thing before I need to re-drip.. Can you show us a picture of how its wicked man?

I just did a 12 Wrap 24G around a 2.4MM seems to be working.

You are using the wrong wire.

To thick and requires to many wraps to raise your resistance.
To thick and heats slowly killing battery sooner
To thick and cools slower causing quick second hits to be HOT

Proper Build is key to producing any vape you desire.
This means the right Atty as well as the right build.

Are the Clouds really key to satisfaction of vapingo_O

My Magma RDA's produce decent Vapor while delivering very good flavor at 30 watts:thumbs:

Yes. I make 60ml batches with the flavoring i make it 75/25 or as close to 80/20 as possible

I personally use 22g Kanthal wire, dual 6-7 wrapped and it comes out to about .2-.25 ohms. I find that this allows me to get long hits on it. Are you dripping enough in there? I usually over drip sometimes, but I always make sure I fill my juice well all the way up.. You should definitely be able to get some good long hits with that. I've never used the Kennedy RDA before but I've heard good things about it.. I don't know exactly how big the juice well is but make sure you fill that baby up and the cotton is wicked down into it!

I'm not a Cloud Chaser, but a lung full of thick vapor is very satisfying for me. My RTA gets this job done, but for some reason I can't get it done on my RDA. Maybe TOO much airflow from the Kennedy Comp?

Are you suggesting I use a lower gauge wire and make more wraps? I have 26 Gauge Nichrome coming in the mail.
