How do you handle them?

A little background: I used to be 2 packs a day, switched to e-cigs a week and a half ago, not a single analog since. It's been working great so far, but I have one big issue, and that's going out. Tonight, I took along my 901, spare battery and 5ml refill, but I almost ran out, and I went home pretty early. A couple more hours and I would certainly have had to fall back on analogs, something I'd rather avoid.

The thing is, when I start drinking and getting in the mood, I pretty much chain-smoke, and chain-vaping, the batteries die on me way too quickly. Plus, with the booze, my resolve to stay off analogs weakens considerably. Any tips or tricks?

I use the kr808-D. I have 4 batteries. If Im going out, I charge 3 of them before hand (yes, I have a total of 5 chargers between the wife and I)... take along 3 charged batts, 3 carto's and Im good from 6pm till the bars close:D

I got a Silver Bullet, now I go out with just the SB and a 6ml bottle of juice, the battery will last all night and more if needed (gone 3 days once on 1 battery - it was a long party - LOL). Before that I would take a PCC with the 510 with 2 batts, one always charging in the PCC and would last all night.

If I was seen in public with an SB... they'd call the cops on me!

Mordred you need a PCC or a battery mod...and a 10ml bottle of juice is smaller than a lighter, so easily carried.

I haven't actually drank any booze since starting to vape, but with the festive season descending upon us...well, that will change, and I smoke like a maniac when boozing! (should have my BB by then though). :)

.

Refer to my post about the kr808-D sweetie! No mod or pcc... and Im drinkin and vaping all night! Woohoo!:D

Although I use a different model (M401) I chain vape. Here's my out of the house solution.

I take at least 4 batteries. I take two cases with me and one 10ml bottle. It's bulkier than I'd like, but I'm good to go for the evening. Each case fits 2 batts, an atty and two cartridges...which I'm constantly refilling.

It's a PIA. At least I can throw this in my purse.

Unless you want to switch to a mod for extended battery life, you're pretty much SOL.

Does anyone here who chain vapes use the cartomizer on a 901? How long does that last?

Yeah, I tend to use the SB more at friends houses and private affairs and such, and stick with the pcc and 510 when out and don't want to draw too much attention from the authorities.

Hey, Im trying to decide between a 510 or getting another RN-4075...the 510 is getting alot of hype around these parts.... whats your take on the decision Imtrying to make? Sorry to go OT from the OP....

The basic e-cig kit is designed so while you're using one battery you're charging the other. This doesn't work well when you don't know how long you'll be out. There are mods and super batteries, but keep it simple. You'll eventually have a few extra batteries when you place your next shipment (always have spares) and another solution is the PCC. When I don't know how long I'll be out I just grab that. It charges in your pocket. The one for the 510 is great, but you can also get one for the 901.

I just don't know of a dealer off hand that has the 901 PCC. Everyone has the 510 version, so you may need to search around. Eastmall probably has it, but I don't think healthcabin or heaven-gifts does.

A PCC is a must have, especially if you're not handy enough for custom mods (that's me) or don't want to drop $100+ for a designer model (Christmas is right around the corner). It's a good $20 solution that will come in handy.

Thanks for the replies.

About the Silver Bullet, sounds like it's a great device, but I'd rather go with something more discreet.

I'll try a higher nic juice next time, though, that may well help, I took 11mg and I've already felt like it's not enough before.

Glad to help Mordred. Yeah, I started with 16mg...then went to 24mg which did the trick. Havent gone down yet, but havent had a cigarette in almost 8 months...

I go out every weekend staying up all night. V4L PCC, 2 batts and 4 cartos of 24 mg do the job ( 4 because i share with curious friends). Used to be a pack-a-day for over 20 years!

I've been having very good luck via carrying my 510 and its PCC along with my M702 and its PCC. I could probably get by on either one of them alone... but the security of having a backup. and being able to switch off.. that works well for me.

Those and a small bottle of liquid.. and I'm good to go! Went on an 8 hour bender last weekend... ran out of brain cells before I ran out of vape! ;-)

Agree with Trox, my protege (along with a couple spare batteries) lasts me, and lasts me, and lasts me. I usually am back, and in bed, by the time the second battery is even close to losing power. It's not so large that it's hard to carry, and packs a nice punch.

On a funny side, I was vaping it when my wife and I were coming onto a military post the other day, and the gate guard looks at me, and says "You got a peace pipe there Chief???"

It was a nice opportunity to spark another e-cig conversation though.
