Another consideration might be to focus on atomizers, 18XXX batteries might not be around for the rest of our lives, but you can be assured that some kind of battery will be in existence.

So long as you have atomizers and juice, your good to go.

Taking a look around my home I have threaded compass sets that are going on 90 years old and function perfectly, I'm not worried about threads all that much.

But I do have some electronics that you can't easily find batteries for.

Of course kanthal in a quantity to last you till your 100 would be a good idea.

A Provari is designed & built to be every bit as durable as a mechanical mod. Should the chip or anything else fail, it can easily be sent in to the manufacturer to be replaced for free under the 1 year warranty, or replaced for a reasonable fee after warranty, for life. This is one of the reasons a Provari is a little more expensive than the typical Chinese-made mod, whose manufacturer doesn't offer tech or customer service after the sale.

Why Provari?

I'll have to second the Provari as a great long term APV. I bought mine a year after they were introduced and have not had one issue with it, my wife ran through a bunch of ego batteries - Wearing them out so they wouldn't hold a charge. I bought her a white Provari and that is all she uses with the exception of a red TMAX by Sigelei.
