Hello! I've been lurking through ecf for over two years now, and have finally decided to introduce myself!

My journey with ecig has been a long one. I'm was a PAD smoker. I had to move in with my parents to help take care of my mother, and smoking was out of the question at home. In desperation, I turned to ecf and ecig to help me out when I was unable to smoke. I started out as one of those people who wanted something that resembled an analog as close as possible...well, that didn't last long. I used it about a month, then gave up. I started sneaking outside at night to smoke.

About a year later, I wanted to quit...again. So I got another (can you believe it?) analog look alike. Well, nope didn't work. So I sucked it up and got an ego. Around this time the tech in clearomizers were picking up, and that is what I think helped me stick with it this time. Atomizers hate me. For some reason I can never get them to work for more than a day.

Anyways, after awhile, I wanted something more. I loved my ego, and I still use them to this day. But I decided to get a Silver Bullet. And oh man, I had no idea what I was missing!! I could have punched myself for wasting all that time and money. But it was a journey, and I ended up with an apv at the right time.

I had a couple of scares though using my Vivi Nova tank on my Silver Bullet, luckily I had a VapeSafe fuse, and even if that failed the coil would have collapsed. It still freaked me out a bit, so I getting the courage up again to use the battery mods again. Just last week though, I ordered my first Saber Touch Mini, with the passthrough so I won't have to worry too much about batteries for the time being. It shipped today and I should get it on Monday!

For those having issue with juice. I had a difficult time too. I have a HUGE box of samples and misc juice that I will probably never touch again unless I have a juice emergency. I spent the better half of a year buying juice every week trying to find something I liked. I found NiteLiteVapor, and have been a customer ever since. It's just a matter of searching until you do find something you like, then buy in bulk! :)

Sadly, I still smoke. But I have cut down to about 2 pack a week. I for some reason can't quit smoking at work and in my car. I am hoping my Saber Touch will help me stop smoking in my car completely. I work in retail, and on those bad days it's really hard to not smoke with all the crap I have to put up with on a daily basis. I don't crave cigs at home at all anymore like I used to. I just need to get in the habit of using my ecigs outside the house. But I'm getting there! Hey, just cutting back for me was a big step! I hope to be analog free by the end of the year.

Even though I've only lurked, I want to thank everyone here on the forum for all your help!! You guys are great! Vape on! :vapor:

Welcome to being a member of the ECF!! Sounds like you are off to a good start with vaping. It's ok to still smoke and vape. If you really want to give up the cigs and just vape, that time will come. This isn't a race to only vape. Take your time. It's good you have a goal set to quit analogs, just don't force yourself, allow some time. You can always set a new goal. Good luck!

I think I'm the type that keeps waiting for "the perfect time" to stop smoking. Well, I just need to get over the fact that there's no perfect time. I won't just one day magically not want to smoke. I think I need to start implementing some self control. I love vaping, so I need to decide to take my vape pack with me and vape some 24mgs on breaks so I don't stab customers in the neck with a pen or a pair of scissors. LOL

You never can tell. There have been people here that one day just said, "you know, I will keep vaping, and I don't even want a nasty analog". The rest is vaping history. For some people, the e-cig just took over the void where smoking left off. The e-cig is a powerful thing that almost makes you want to chuck the analogs in the trash. Each person is different though.
