Poop. I got to the second page. Gotta love the USPS. :sneaky:

My boyfriend feels a thouuuuuuuuuuusand times better since vaping. His doctor flat out told him, one more blood clot in your lungs and you might not be so lucky. He was pretty much a dead man walking while he was smoking analogs. We've been vaping since 02 Jan 10, and it's done wonders for both of us.

The attys do need to be broke in a tad. Did you purchase juice as well? If you're looking for a throat hit PG is probably the juice you'd prefer. Make sure the atty stays wet though (if you have juice, drop a tad on teh bridge of the atomizer that might help you as well), and the cartridge filler doesn't dry out on it. Also, whether you got a manual or automatic PV makes a difference too (for me, personally, anyway).

B/f was on blood thinners for about a year after his PE, now he takes baby asprin, but it is something that he has to keep up on.

We've been vaping for 5 months, but there's a lot of techniques I'm unaware of. I just know that keeping the atomizer wet, but not flooded keeps it working properly. :D Others will be able to explain it better than me.

glad you got them in the mail too

One thing to check, according my mother (a former nurse), and my mother in law (a nurse of 28 years), is that nicotine thickens the blood. I am not sure if that really is the case or not, but certainly if you are having issues with thicker blood, this should be something you discuss with your physician.
Well the goal is to decrease my nicotine slowly. But ANYTHING had to be better than the smoking! I will discuss that with my doc, though.

Wow, the taste of just the marlboro that came with the 510 is pretty decent! Im going to try the juices later tonight I think.

Wow, so how are your lungs doing now?

My lungs are awesome. I can climb three flights of steps without getting winded, and I can breathe right to the bottom of them and there's no cough in there, none at all. I still cough from my first few hits of nicquid each day, but it's a throat cough, not a mushy, productive lung cough. Also, the tightness in my chest is gone, as well as a handful of other localized chest pains. At my last physical, the sawbones described my blood pressure as "excellent", and my respirologist says all the crackling sounds are gone when I breathe.

And these results were after only three weeks of vaping. It doesn't make any sense, but I'd swear this stuff cleaned my lungs.

Now, at six weeks of vaping, I'm eying my dust-covered catcher's mit and thinking I might be able to throw the ball around again.

You have no idea how happy I am to hear this, not only as a testimonial for vaping, but giving me some hope on my own sad ol lungs. I slept last night like a baby, btw. Not one single cough woke me up. Im TOO happy.

Hi there KathySue and welcome to ECF. Wow, if you thought the marlboro prefilled carts were good, LOL, wait until you try the flavors! Ah, yes, I can remember when my e-cig starter kit came in the mail. I looked at it and wondered what to do next:confused:. I was almost afraid to try it. Glad to see you joining up and posting. In a couple of weeks, you might want to think about ordering another starter pack for spare parts. I've been vaping for about a month and a half and blew my first atty out a couple of days ago. rrvaporz, madvapes, cignots -- all of those have affordable starter packs and spare parts. Happy vaping!:vapor:

lol...

Better lock your door Seabrook, Jokers going to start coming by our houses. :p

I'd like to just go on record here...I Didnt Do it. Promise.

I wouldn't mind eJoker coming and knocking on my door, I would pull him in, sit him down, and make him teach me how to make a mod. Besides, he's in SoCal too. He needs to help his neighbors out, right Rose?
