Longer lasting batteries

Hello fellow vapers. Just want some feedback from those of you that are more in the know than myself. I am currently using genuine Sony VTC4 batteries in my mech mods. My builds are between 0.3-0.5 ohms. The battery life is terrible with my VTC4s. I can get several hits before I get diminished flavor, if I chain vape the battery is dead within an hour. This is consistent with all 4 of my batteries on a full charge. Are there any 30amp batteries on the market with a little longer life? I am familiar with ohms law and battery safety. Thanks guys!

After several hits at 0.3-0.5 ohms battery voltage under load will decrease a bit. The decrease rate slows once the batts get to around 3.9v no load, or about 3.5v under load. When you chain vape how often do you take a drag and how long are the drags on average?

Also, about how many charge cycles are on the VTC4's, how low do you take the volts before swapping batts and what is the voltage of the batts off the charger when they are just finished charging?

Chipotle.
The Samsung 25R will perform significantly better than the VTC4 in my experiences, especially at those levels. I am abusing the crap out of my 25R's at .15 ohms daily everyday use and they seem to keep going the longest. What I normally do is just wait until the vape experience turns to crap, pull the battery and charge it. With my VTC4's, VTC5's and LG HE2's almost every time I put them on the charger they are between 3.5V and 3.7V, But every single time I put my 25R's on the charger they are at 3.3 or 3.2v, they perform as good if not better at a lower standing voltage than even the "mighty" VTC5, at least in my experiences with very high drain use. Added bonus, they're $6 each from illumination supply. - 18650 Samsung INR18650-25R 2500mAh High Discharge Flat Top

They're not shockingly better, but they are definitely longer lasting than the VTC4.

Aren't you a little over the amperage limit for the batteries? IS your mod getting hot? I just built a .18 dual coil. 5 wraps on 24awg kanthal and Im frickin loving it! But now I'm worried about using the Samsung batteries with this build. Seems fine with the VTC4s but they're 30 amp

4.2 volts on full charge. When I chain vape is a about 5sec draw every couple minutes to every few minutes or so. I'll go through 2 batteries a night so out of my 4 batts, they get charged full every 4 days.

I modeled that in the Steam Engine battery drain calculator and got 14 minutes total run time per battery to completely discharged. Going to 3.7-3.6V (half discharged) you should get 7 minutes. So if you take 20 drags/hr (every 3 minutes) at 5 seconds/drag, that's 84 drags and about 4 hours.

IMO there is something wrong with your batteries if you get 1 hour to full discharge at the rate you vape.
