i've just had a good look at the tornado. possibly may be worth buying a kit i think. as with most people.... i'm starting to get over the fact that it MUST look as close to the real thing as possible.

This is the best 'transition' to get over the 'must look like' consideration and it's done with style. I really like the Tornado but also the Bartleby for $50 will get you a 2 - 4 more hours. I get 6 - 6.5 on the Tornado and 8-10 on the Bart - heavy vaping and the Bart's 14500 batt will keep that peak voltage for a longer run too.

I don't know River, you seem to be paying attention ;-) One has to like the box mod ergonomics, which I do. I agree that the TorneGo is a really good choice though. Perhaps the Mustang of vaping ;-) because of the styling. I took both on vacation and found myself hitting the Tornado mostly - lots of questions at the smoking areas at Disney.... I was holding seminars. lol.

But the Bartleby holds that peak voltage longer and lasts a bit longer too with my experience - 650mAh on the Tornado, 900mAh on the 14500 in the Bart which truly lasts a good 8 hours for me if that's the only ecig I'm using. 6 on the Tornado.

The other thing about the Bartleby is like the JStick, the charging cable acts like a PT where you can have it hooked up in the car and when you disconnect you're vaping at peak voltage - if you don't know what that is, you'll just have to experience it. It's a 3.7volt batt just like the regular 510's and the megas but it has much more power - meaning more vapor - for hours - see Scottbee's battery thread on what the actual voltage of the oem 510 batt is - like 3.1 and the difference in the Bart's 14500 is quite noticeable and real close vapor-wise to a 5V without putting your attys in jeopardy or burning out flavor.

Bart also has an on/off switch, something you don't get with many mods, to where you can turn it off, put it into your pocket and not worry about burning yourself ;-) And.... the price is right. It's worth it to read through that thread for the feedback.

thanks again for the great input guys.
remie, i had no idea the two were the same! now i feel like a real goose. LOL
i think my mind is made up, so i'll head to both sites and see which has the better deal. considering i do have a 510, i will at least be able to use the parts.
thanks again, all the help and info is very much appreciated!

Wenchy69,
As far as the eGo vs the tornado go..
the eGo is the original design...the kit comes with a fast USB charger, and a 6 month warranty, but one atty...unfortunately janty is often out of stock on them
The tornado, is a rebranded eGo...that kit comes with an extra atty and 5 more carts..but a slow (regular 510) charger and a charging adapter...and only a 28 day warranty...
I believe dietsmokes is carrying the janty eGo now as well and as such they say that they aslo honor the janty warranty on it..
