Just bought a 901 from Vapor Guys, got it yesterday. I tried a Smoking Everywhere vaporizer a few weeks ago, got way into the sensation, but needed to further research before a purchase. Keep in mind that I'm a social smoker; I only smoke about once a week, whenever I'm sucking back whiskey or scotch. Anyhoo, worked through the forums, settled on a 901 from Vapor Guys. I take it it's the generic 901. Initial experience was satisfactory, maybe a B-, but then both batteries presumably took a dump on me. Battery 1 started getting weak after < 1 day, so I went to battery 2; both batteries got the 8-hour charge. Battery 2 seemingly discharges constantly, as the LED is perpetually on. Switch back to battery 1, which goes straight to the low-battery LED flash.

To sum, I just spent $70 on vaporizers & supplies, & this .... is busted. I understand the need to exercise a bit of patience, but for a smoker like me, a smoker who loses his nerve whenever he gets a decent drunk on, this 901 is the pits. Wack City! Sorry to start a new thread, I'm sure the veteran posters hate this .....

sounds more likely to me that the charger might be bad, rather than 2 batteries that wont charge... was the red light coming on and staying red for a few hours, then turning green? what you have gotten out of them so far sounds like it was probably the factory partial charge.

Both batteries got the 8-hour charge, per recommendations. I think the batteries' sensors are faulty; both run constantly, as the LED's (blue) are always on, occasionally blinking red (i.e. the 5-second drag shut-off). If I leave a battery connected to the atomizer, the atomizer will run.

Decided to try a 0mg menthol Ruyan Jazz. No refunds here, so if it takes a dump on me, I'm out $24. Thought long & hard about the high cost, but since I smoke once/week at most, I'm hoping that I'll stretch that $24 over a few months. We'll see whether the unit maintains performance along sporadic use, as opposed to regular vaping.
