I suppose if one ran them at max wattage all the time, there is some potential of damage to the chip. I have a Sigelei 100 watt that I've had since they arrived on the market and it's doing just fine. However, I have rarely cranked it up very high, I mostly run it at 35 watts with an Atlantis tank. I have the 150 watt, but have a 0.7 Ω build on a Tugboat that I'm running at 45 watts for flavor. I have a series 26650 mech box, that will push some SERIOUS watts if you build low on it, but I am running a .54 Ω build that gets me over 150 watts. On both of the Sigs, I'm still running the same batts that I married in them at first with no drop-off of vape life per charge. Rotating the batts every charge keeps them healthy so it's claimed, time will tell I suppose.
