You may ask why?
and I will say "why not"
I discovered a new way to remove the 510 connectors from there shell (you need a lathe..) and everything comes out intact.... So I used the components from the auto 510 battery and pressed into the bushing. All the electronics are intact. led flashes when you turn the unit on from the rear on/off switch, LED will flash when the battery needs charging, and If you wanted to,with an adapter, you could charge the battery from the connector.
I know its a few steps backward but its cool. The center hole is unsealed, so i will probably kill it in no time from dripping, but hey, I think I could fix it....
