Look what I found in my Kayfun Lite center post hole > (pics)

I have not used this kayfun Lite clone yet since I still have not installed a coil on it.

However, this morning I decided to remove the 'center pin' (or whatever it's called) out of it. This is nylon you see in the side hole of the pin.

I wonder how common this is with these clones? I guess this would restrict airflow to the coil?

Well, I got a sewing pin and removed the obstruction.

Then took some 800 wet/dry sandpaper and removed the rough edges on the little hole, so it would not scrap on the nylon insert that is in the hole in the base that this center pin slides into ... Should not happen again.

Happens quite often with the clones, you can also run something through the side air hole and from the top of that pin to that hole if you haven't already to see if there are any obstructions.

I would recommend to everyone to full disassemble an atty you receive for a proper cleaning. This should expose any foreign objects that have lodged themselves into any area they are unwanted.
