The Gimlet is a reasonably good tank; inexpensive for both the tank and the pre-built coils. As for the Subtank Mini, I find I don't care for the Ni200 prebuilt coils from Kanger.

I would look at the Triton (which can use Atlantis coils) and the Freemax Starre (also can use Atlantis coils, and the Starre specific Ni200 prebuilt coils are quite good).

I had protanks in the past and wasted a lot of time and money on the prebuilt coils. Piece of crap. Would rather get something similar. I can build coils, but I'm lazy. If there's a device that you can buy prebuilt coils "THAT ACUTALLY WORK" I'm all ears. Thanks.

That's why I was looking at this.

Kanger SUBTANK-NANO clearomizer – KangerTech

But it's the same company that makes the protank. Which, IMO is a POFS. I've had the Russian and the Kayfun. Didn't like those either. Nothing but problems. That was a little over a year ago, so I doubt much has improved. But I'm listening :)

Right behind you...
A year in the vaping world is like a decade in most any other industry. Coil and tank building technology has come a LONG way since the Protank days, and Kanger has stepped up their game. They're a market leader because of how good the Subtank series is. That said, some folks have problems with the pre-built Ni200 heads on the Subtank, but then again, they have problems with pre-built Ni200 heads on many other tanks as well.
