Nope. You have to know ohms law and battery safety. Without it, you shouldn't be using a mechanical mod.
You have to build in a safe limit and not cause a short. No running batteries down too much either.
There is no safe aspects of a mech mod if you don't know about battery safety and ohms law. Knowledge is your safety in mech mods.

There are no guarantees that great batteries will protect you if build extremely low. For most people, including myself, I have several 20 amp batteries that I use often. I understand which builds are compatible so as not to tax the batteries too much. I use the lower amp batteries because they have a higher mah AND I don't usually vape below .2 ohms. I prefer .4 to .8 Nothing will get past being safe and educating yourself.
You have to have an ohm reader and measure all your builds. You have to do routine maintenance, take it all apart, clean it, etc.

Actually, the "battery holder/contact switch"... AKA the mech mod, can be just as important as the batteries you use. The best quality batteries (Mooch's terrific 18650 testing will clear up the advertising BS) are only as good as the conductivity potential of the mech they are used in.
A great battery in a mod with poor conductivity, used with a low enough resistance will still produce poor performance, localized "hot spots" (usually in the switch assy) and eventual battery damage.

Imagine driving a car without a tach. And the only way to control how fast you drive is to put certain grades of unleaded gas into it. Yea high amp good quality batts will serve as a backup safety protocol but the primary safety is your knowledge of builds and battery safety is huge among unregulated mechs. Someone will be along shortly to give you hours of endless reading on batteries.
Lowest I'll go is .2 on a mech you get below .1 your within the tolerance range of most testers.
I had this long drawn out analogy but deleted it wasn't sure how much you knew about cars. I recind my previous thought.
You do realize that a .08 - .05 build would draw 55-80 amps right? No single battery can handle that...
280watts....can you imagine if your face didn't get blown off how hot and nasty the vape would be

People use thick wire and multicoils and as a result they end up with lower ohms.
When somebody asks them what ohm coil they have the short answer is whatever ohms it is.
But if you start out just deciding to build low ohms, it's like starting out from the wrong direction.
Either way though, still not a reason to do it with a mech mod

0.08 is the lowest you can build on a dual parallel battery mech box mod using Sony vtc4s. And that's pushing the batteries to their max. And wow, if your meter isn't perfectly accurate, you could be in for a really bad day.
No one should be building lower than that unless we are talking about ni200 and a tc regulated mod.
And bear in mind 0.08 means you should be replacing your batteries pretty often as they will be degrading rather quickly.
