You could ask others, who have multiple different mods - why so many mods? You really are going to need to try the REO to "get it". I have four of them, and plan to get more. Why? Because nothing else satisfies me like the REO - not even my Provari with KFL+ clone on it.

It's minimal maintenance for maximum return on flavor.

Each one of my four has a different flavor on them. I was happily engulfing myself in vapors last evening watching the news while the BF was shaving. He came into the living room waving clouds away, while I was sitting there grinning like the cat who ate the canary - just happily rotating between flavors.

I had not responded to your OP, because I honestly have nothing negative to say about my experience with REO's.

Oh - but I use RM2's only right now. Might look into a BF Cyclone, but I have no complaints about the RM2's - I have 5 of them (the brass one is waiting for the Woodvil's).

I have the same question for everyone that has numerous of the same mods. Unless it's something like an MVP with a built in battery it seems to me in a lot of circumstances you can just get more batteries instead of numerous devices. It would be a lot more hassle though with the REO being a feeder mod.

Even if the vape you can get on a REO was 75% weaker than it was, I'd still use them just on durability, simplicity and form factor alone.

But the fact is that the REO and even just a decently built RBA vape as good or better than anything out there according to many who have used gennies, KFLs etc...

Guess I'll never know cause I started vaping REOs a month in and have no desire to experiment with the tube set :)

The simple answer to "Why more than one?"

because they are each different in some way. Size, VV or not, and of course the woods are each unique.
Plus, there are two of us here using them, and it would be unfair if I got one of a certain kind and he didn't :D

But in reality, they are all mine except the two I allow him to use, the mini with the black cozy and the VVW with the icky old atty (which has been replaced with a stolen-from-me (or permanently borrowed) brass RM2 cuz I felt sorry for him)

Why so many Reo's?

Original mini(2) I love them for the tiny size.
Mini 2.1(1) For when I want a little more battery but still smaller than a grand
Grand(3) Different juices with no thinkingabout it

The other thing, I build coils slightly different. There are times I have three in use at my all at once.

Do I need them all? No. I really like them, and I have less into the six than I had into all the crap I used for short times before moving on. Plus, I have different colors

The advantage of the kick over the VV reo is that if the electronics go south they are easily replaceable. Also they can be cleaned in running water bath. It also has no stacked batteries.
The VV reo is easier to dial in the vape with the wheel. With the kick it has to be taken out then dialed in with a small screw driver. Not as convenient.
The Kicked version would be my preference... I like to be able to replace the electronics should they fail.. I have my Kick2 set @ around 11 watts so the dial it up/down feature is not important to me... A DNA30 REO, hmmm now that I might buy....

I have been a huge SuperT fan over the years so I know all about the mod addiction bug... I am sure once I get a REO I will want another.
A REO made out of wood, now that would be something, it looks like they will be a rare breed indeed..

I was on the REO website and there are no good colors for the Reo Grand. There is no disadvantage to using the LP reo right? All of the normal tanks and toppers will work fine on the LP reo? Just not the other way around?

If you would like certain colors it is best to send Robert a PM. He can/will usually provide your choice.

Yes, all of them will work on the LP Grand. But be aware that some might have a little more of the bottom post showing. If you get the RM2 get the un-milled. It will sit down enough so there is no space.

That is just a form factor though...right? Does not effect the functionality?
