Hi guys! I have been vaping for almost four years now. I have been using a Joye 510 with PTB mod and decided it was time to get a little more current!

Esmokeronline has the liquid I like so I think I want to order from them. In looking, I think I can get the parts I need fairly cheaply and still use my existing chargers (got a bunch of em) and maybe my Joye 510 Mega batteries?

I dont think I want the big fat rigs. I like how my Joye 510 setups fit nicely in my pocket. So, the best setup these days are bottom coil clear cartomizers is that right?

If so, it looks like I will want a couple of these:http://www.esmokeronline.com/New-Pro...earomizer.html

And then a couple of these:
http://www.esmokeronline.com/Clearom...earomizer.html

And then maybe this battery:

Then I should be good to go right? I can use that battery or my old Joye 510 Ultra batteries is that right? Am I missing anything here to get this new setup going?

Thanks guys!!

Hi. I did the PTB thing a couple of years ago. I liked the ZFM better... ;)

That looks like it would be a pretty good setup, with much more liquid and battery capacity. They are a bit expensive, especially on the eGo-C 1000mah battery. That setup would be close to 6 inches long, or a bit more, I think.

I think that a more popular step up would be and eGo VV battery such as the 650mah eGo-C Twist, and the Kanger eVod BCC. The battery is about as long as the one that you pointed to, but with less capacity and more flexibility in output voltage. The eVod seems to be more popular than the T3, though the T3S may be close. I steered away from T3s due to complaints that others had, though many do like them. Evods take a similar head, either those labelled eVod or Pro Tank will work with them.

If you've been happy with 510s this long, you'd probably be fine with a 650mah eGo, and variable voltage Twists are nice for adjusting your vaping power.

As for using a 510 device, you'd probably need a 510-eGo adapter, as T3s and eVods use eGo threading. I'm not sure what the 510 Ultra is, though. If it is an eGo style, it should work.

+1 on everything said above about evod. Then from evod you could graduate again to the kanger protank or mini protank and use the same atomizer heads. Kanger is moving the entire product line to a universal tank head and are gearing at evod and protanks. The mt3 and mt3s seem to be getting set out to pasture by kanger as their atty head designs were a little off. I have seen a ton of people post about how they do work with the mt3 or mt3s but have also seen a ton of people post they don't, or they have to a lot of tinkering to make them work right.

The battery you linked is fine as well as it has ego threading.

Interesting...... Let me back up here I guess....

I like my old 510 setup, especially when it works well. Anymore though, it is getting pretty irritating. If I dont have the PTB built just right, I get lots of floods or dry hits. It seems like each atomizer I get has different tolerances which makes things even worse. So I guess its time to move on since I need new atomizers and will need batteries soon.

As you can probably see from my post count and age of account, Im a little behind the times! LOL! Anyway, I want something that provides great throat hit and is more consistent than my current Joye 510 rig. I would prefer something fairly small and also something that can be charged with my old 510 chargers (and maybe use my 510 batteries). Im not a big fan of the ginormous rigs I see people running around with these days. I would prefer something no thicker than the ego-c battery and no longer than 6". Yeah I know Im a picky pain in the ...! LMAO! Is the EVOD pretty big? Is it better for what I describe than the T3S?

Thanks guys!

Well I pulled the trigger on an EGO C Twist and Kanger EVOD! I had to buy the setup from MVS because Esmokeronline didnt have the battery. I still had to order my liquid from esmoker though because I know I like their flavors. MVS was slightly cheaper for the gear but its a wash after shipping. Either way, Im VERY excited to have a new and hopefully much better setup. Thanks for the help guys!

That's a good setup - and not AT ALL very different than what you originally picked!
I'm not certain from your post what you've been putting your juice in - but the EVOD (or the T3) should be a nice step up in FLAVOR, as well as capacity...
You DO need a new charger - the 510 "regular" chargers will take FOREVER to charge an EGO battery. And an EGO charger will "burn out" a regular 510 battery. So you need to spend another $10-$12 for a charger - but that will last you for ANY Ego batteries - bigger capacity ones, or variable voltage ones, etc...

I never did the adapter thing when I was using both 510's and Egos.
I DID get some 510 "clearomizers" - like the Vision Nano, which I could use on both types (the Ego battery DOES have a 510 connector in it as well).

Hope you're happy!! I think you will be.
If you have any trouble with those EVOD's come back and ask - they are VERY popular...
