I'm trying to produce GIANT clouds, im currently vaping on an Itaste MVP 2.0 and a nautilus Aspire. the clouds are great. But, I'm looking for MONSTOROUS clouds. I'll do whatever it takes. I'm on the search for a CRAZY CLOUD producing vape machine/mod. any suggestions are great, I got one suggestion earlier but I checked out the vapor production from a poster and after watching several videos of that mod, they looked weaker than my itaste. I want serious clouds. :)

cheers

First why are you wanting huge clouds of vapor. What you need to understand is that the more power going to your coil will produce more vapor and the higher the vg % in your juice the more vapor you will produce. Mech mods with RDA's subohming would be your best bet but I would do A LOT of homework about ohms law and battery safety before you get into that

Do some homework and learn about coil building, battery safety, ohms law, vg/pg, affects of nicotine, ohm or multi meters and different types of mods. Come back and show us you've learned some stuff and we will help you fine tune things from there. Vaping isn't just about clouds. If all you want is clouds, dump some vg in a theater fogger and leave vaping alone. You'll be safer that way.

Got a pair of Igo-M RDAs yesterday, running them on new Nemmy and Caravela mechs. I've only got my build down to 1.15 ohm and my wife's at 1.4 on dual coils (7 and 9 wraps of 30 ga Kanthal on a 5/64 bit with cotton wicking respectively). Very happy with vape production, and sure I could get even better going sub-ohm, which I'm capable of with my Sony VTC4 and VTC5 18650s rated to 30a continuous, but I'm a new builder and being cautious.

Key phrase in there: I'm a complete noob, and I'm being cautious. Unless everything I just said makes complete sense to you, it's not time to cloud chase. Spend a few hours a day for a couple weeks in the APV forum, read all the stickies (especially as related to battery safety). Follow the links. Read Baditude's blogs. Then come back and start asking questions about what device to buy - by then you'll have found a plethora of different interesting options and you'll be able to ask questions that will get you better responses.

Sorry if this comes across as harsh, but while I really want to help you find your perfect vape, I don't want to help you inadvertently build a pipe bomb.

People are concerned that you do your research because the best way to get huge clouds is to get a mech mod and build sub ohm (resistance is less then 1ohm) coils. Regulated devices are designed not to fire coils that are below a certain resistance for safety reasons. With a mech mod, you can bypass that safety feature as there are no electronics to stop you. It will fire whatever you put on top, whether the battery you are using can handle it or not. It is important that the battery you are using can handle it, or it can over heat, vent, etc... Not a great situation.

For cloud chasing, you'll probably want a dripper with a deck large enough to handle multiple coils, which will also aide in lowering your resistance. The lower you go, the faster the coils heat up and the hotter they get, hence more clouds. To prevent simply burning the liquid and wicking, you want the most airflow possible. Many drill out the existing air holes to a larger size, and position them right by the coils. Also, you will want an e-liquid with a higher VG ratio, as VG produces more clouds then PG.

For batteries, you want a high drain battery capable of handling as many amps as possible. I hear a lot about the green Sony batteries.

Invest in an ohm meter and a multimeter as well, so you can check how much power is left in your battery (going too low before charging is bad for the battery) and check the resistance of any coil you build. The lower the resistance, the more clouds you may produce, however, it is more taxing for the battery and can be dangerous if you do not have the proper equipment and knowledge. I do not, so I don't sub-ohm.
