HELLO! :D I'm currently vaping on an Itaste MVP 2.0 with a nautilus aspire tank rockin' a 1.6 ohm coil. My juice is 50/50 vg/pg and I really wanted to keep it that way because I like the flavor and the vapor production is not bad. I just want to get a device that produces clouds but I don't want to burn a hole in my wallet. I LOVE the box mod designs but I may be willing to sacrifice if the price is right. I'm looking to spend roughly $50 -$75

At that price range you'd need a cheap mechanical mod with a clone dripper. Plus supplies, batteries, battery charger, etc.

I second this idea. If you want more clouds, you're gonna need more air flow. I love my nautilus to death but when I want some decent clouds, a nice airflow adjustable dripper does the trick. The nautilus is pretty decent in getting clouds from a clearomizer but you need to imporve on your suck-inhale technique lol. You could also think about moving up to a kayfun or russian 91% but like a dripper, you're gonna need to learn coil building.

Custom built mod. Not in that price range tho.

If you want clouds while keeping flavor, you should think about a dripper with an adjustable airflow. It's less the mod, and more about the rba/rda.

I went from Protank 2 to RSST to Russian 91. Just recently, I got a trident dripper, and that'll be where I end. I lose a tank, but I get an amazing vape.

Spend $20 on a decent dripper and keep the MVP. but you will have to learn to build your own coils.

For what it's worth, with my enigma rda on my provari at 1.3 ohms I get nice clouds. But it's a good 6-10 second inhale and most regulated devices won't fire under about 1.2 ohms. On my sentinel mech I run a dual coil on the enigma at .6 ohms and I get the same amount of vapor in 1-3 seconds. Clouds are attainable in a lot of different ways. You don't necessarily need a mech especially with mods like the 7-22 that will fire a .6 ohm coil at up to 22 watts. A DNA 30 will fire with even more watts. But the price is obviously better with a mech you're just exchanging some safety.

I really want to go with a mech mod, One that I can re-build coils, cotton, etc. I'm open for suggestions and ideas but im not sure which route I want to take yet. Thanks so much

Search ebay for mechanical mod clones and find one you like, there are tons to choose from. I just bought a sentinel m16 clone for $25 and its great. It is a telescoping mod which means it will handle any 18xxx battery you wish to use. You'll also need a good battery, Sony VTC 4 or 5 are about the best you can buy right now....you'll also need a charger. I recommend the sysmax i4. A pair of batteries and the charger will set you back less than $40.

Then onto your topper. RDA = rebuildable dripping atomizer. This is basically a coil and wick mounted inside of a housing. You have to manually add drops of juice in order to vape...this arguably gives the best vapor and flavor production. They are cheap...trident v2, patriot, nimbus etc. can all be found in clone form on ebay for $15-20.

If dripping seems a hassle then the next choice is a kayfun. Basically a big, easily dissamblable and reassemblable protank. You build your coils and wick and which is surrounded by juice in a tank much like what you are already used to using. This is called an RTA or rebuildable tank atomizer.

Then a few simple supplies to complete your kit. Tweezers, clippers/snippers, ohm meter, drill bits, organic cotton balls and kanthal.

I have two MVPs and loved the Nautilus until I bought a Kayfun 3.1 HCigar clone. Amazing flavor (organic cotton wick), clouds and simple enough to build that even I could do it. I also vape 50/50 or 60/40 liquids. If you are interested, Luxor Vapes has it for $36.50 with free shipping. I ordered my 2nd one yesterday afternoon and it shipped a few hours later. Not a huge investment and opens a whole new world of vaping.

Please elaborate, im so sorry for this n00b question but what exactly is rba/rda? also what does the term "dripper" mean. And If this is the route that I take I will deffinately learn to build my own coils. Thanks so much, btw where can I make a signature like that? :)

rba/rda - rebuildable atomizer/rebuildable drip atomizer.

Dripper is a atomizer than does not have a tank and requires you to drip you juice onto the wicks every few puffs. You lose convenience of holding juice in your atomizer, but the general consensus is that drippers offer better flavor and clouds as well.

Signature - My account, settings, edit signature....google ecigarette signature banner and pick one.

if you go the mech route,

1- pick a low-priced one - read some reviews
2- get a good battery - efest/sony/panasonic seem like decent brands
3- get a good charger - nitecore is a good brand
4- get a rda - patriot, nimbus, trident are decent values
5- learn to coil.

all viewable on youtube.

good luck!
