My kids think I am the worlds greatest dad. so for Christmas I got a shiny new Kanger sub tank. Right now all I can run is the 1.2 ohm atty. A friend has a shark and putting the .5 coil on there is . I have to have something that it can run on. I am looking for your suggestions on a good RMS battery of at least 40 watts to run it. I am on a vaping budget of about $100. or less. I have read and searched the forums but my head turned to mush and CRS. What are your thoughts on what battery would fit my needs? Also would like it to be variable voltage or wattage

40 watts into a 0.5 ohm coil is really going to be a very hot vape.

That will be almost 9 amps of current on the coil.

Might be good for some cloud competition ... but really hard on the lungs for everyday vaping ... don't ya think

You are right on. That being said some ppl are running about 32 watts on their subtank so that is why I said 40. Also thinking about the future a little bit like the Atlantis or what comes down next. I totally agree on the safety part of your post.:toast:
