So, I've had the Tesla 80 watt TC mod for a while and I had been using a Joyetech Cubis tank, firing at like 15-20 watts no problem. (Didn't like it, spits far too much hot ejuice.) I wanted to step up to a sub-ohm tank, so I upgraded to an Atlantis Cleito sub-ohm tank with a .4 coil, running at about 42-50 watts. After firing it up it will last two to three seconds before I get a "low battery" readout even though the battery is fully or very near fully charged. And the battery meter in the Tesla says the battery is fully charged too.

I'm using an Imren 30a (max) 3500mah 18650, 3.7 volts.

I have a .4 ohm coil (40-60 watts) in the Atlantis Cleito.

I'm hoping it's just a more powerful battery that I need.

Any suggestions?

I believe the error message is indicating that the battery is unable to supply the power you are demanding from it. This is not surprising as if it is the one I think it is, it's rated at only 10 amps. FYI a fully charged 18650 is 4.2, around 3.2 volts discharged. The 3.7 volts on the wrap is a nominal value, meaning in this case a rough median value that the battery will sit around for the majority of it's discharge curve.
The green 30A 3500mAh Imren is a 10A battery!

With a regulated device like you have the resistance of the coil is unimportant, the wattage you are using and the remaining voltage in the battery are the relevant values. At 50 watts your device will be pulling 13 amps from the battery which is already over budget. Once the battery is discharged at 3.2 volts it will be pulling 17 amps.

I highly recommend you get a couple of one of the following batteries. LG HG2, Samsung 30Q or 25R

Okay, so I reviewed the rtdvapor.com site for the batteries sonicbomb recommended. Here is what I found:

The 30q I found is only 15 amps, but sonicbomb mentioned that once the battery starts to discharge it will start pulling 17 amps at 40-50 watts. So, would this 15 amp 30q work with that in mind?
Samsung INR18650-30Q 3000mAh 15 amp - $5.89
Samsung INR18650-30Q 3000mAh

This 25r has 20 amps, which is above the 17amp draw sonicbomb mentioned, so this one should do the trick, right? (And it's cheaper than the 15 amp above.)
Samsung INR18650-25R 2500mAh Green 20amp - $4.79
Samsung INR18650-25R 2500mAh Green

This LG HG2 is 20amps, again over the 17 amps sonicbomb mentioned.
LG 18650HG2 3000mAh 20a - $6.30
LG 18650HG2 3000mAh 20a

The HB6 wasn't mentioned, but it came up when i searched the HG2, and I noticed it has 30amps listed.
LG 18650HB6 1500mAh 30A - $4.99
LG 18650HB6 1500mAh 30A

As you can see, I get a little .... and start a mini research project before I buy something. And it just makes sense to do so when vaping to be sure I don't buy crap or hurt myself...

So, if I can ask one more piece of advice, which of the above would you recommend I purchase?

I'm thinking that the LG HG2 has the best specs based on amps and mAh, but I want to be sure.
