Heya, I'm new to vaping, I started out with a horriffic E-Smoke "smoke anywhere" e-cig I found in the mall, which costed me near 200$ - never produced consistent vape, the cartridges were mostly dead, it was just a bad experience.

I'll let you know a bit about myself. I'm 25, I've been smoking since i was 12, its always been menthol's, though when Camel made the "mandarin mint" i went ballistic for it, i do love the fruity flavours. I have been smoking the Marlboro "smooth" cigarettes for quite some time now. I am not a pack-a-day smoker, never have been. I'll blow through 2 packs if i'm partying all night, but usually its about 3 cigarettes a day, more if i'm having a stressful day. I smoke full strength cigarettes, the lites feel like I'm sucking air.

I've been reading a lot of the reviews for liquids on this site and i'll say you guys have been very insightful. I have dripped with my last e-cig, and i found that to give a much more consistent vape than the dried cartridges >.>

I'm really looking forward to trying these out - TastyVapor, and Mentol Ice Halo

So on to my question...
Given that I won't be killing the battery on any of the smaller models, unless I'm out partying.. I'd like to know some opinions on what you think might be a good model for me. I am comfortable tweaking the e-cigs, and dripping, I'd like one that holds a decent charge, and allows me to drip without an insane amt. of hassle.
I'd like a small model that is about the same size as an analog. And one that doesn't have a thousand pieces.

I've been looking at the BLU and Volcano

they are both attractive models, and I've read a few reviews on them, i was wondering if there were any e-cigs that are similar that you think would fare better.

any replies are greatly appreciated, thanks for reading even if you don't reply I know i tend to ramble... *ahem*

Although there have been a few 'meh' reviews of the Blu, I read/watched far more negative reviews than positive. Volcano, from what I read, is pretty much the same thing. Research will show the difference if there is one.

I'm a noob too. I went with the Joye 510. I was choosing between the 510, the 801(pen style) & the 401. The 510 & 401 are analog-ish. I just saw a 401 today and it looks alot like my 510. I love my 510. 401s are getting good reviews. Research some more and pick what you feels best fits you. Model # + e-cig on youtube, or just the specific model review forum here.

Oh! I'm looking for a new model because my previous one was -stolen- out of my purse, I'm serious. At work no less.

- Consistent vape is a big deal for me, as far as suggestions go. :)

My 510 is very consistent. Vapor drops off dramatically right b4 the batt dies. You'll learn what it 'feels' like. As soon as I feel the dropoff, I swap out batts.

Sucks yours was stolen. On the plus side, perhaps you inadvertently helped a smoker swap to vaping? (You know, the old silver lining thing!)

Hi Daz,

I'm a menthol smoker as well (since I was 12  lol) - I started with a Joye 510 a week ago and I really like it. I use the straw-mod in the carts and I also drip sometimes. Filling the carts is easy and they last a long time, so if I'm out partying (or wherever) and have a couple of filled carts, the extra atty and battery in the PCC - I'm good to go and it's very simple.

When I refill the carts I don't find that they dry out at all.

I smoked 100's so the size is fine. The batteries last a lot longer than I thought they would.

I got my Halo Menthol Ice today - It's awesome! Very clean, pure - and tons of vapor production. It doesn't give you a strong sweet blast of sinus clearing menthol (which I do like!), it's a lot like the menthol in a ciggie, without any nasty after taste. I'm going to also try their Newpure and Cool. I'm finding that it's the menthol I'm craving and seem to enjoy the most right now. I vaped it all day today.

I got my 510 from cignot, I couldn't pass on the price of their starter kit. They ship fast as well, four days from ordering to my mailbox.

There is so much information here - check around and I'm sure you'll find something that works great for you.

Good Luck!

Get a few M402 manual batts that will be fine even with loud noises during partying time. I'm in more or less the same situation as yourself and these has been a life saver compared to the auto batts that has died a few on me. These should be the closest to an analog while still making sense by adding the manual switch function.

*NEW* M401 & M401 Manual Switch Batteries - Electronic Cigarette | Electronic Cigarettes | E-Cigarettes | E-Cigs from Smoore

Get a PCC too.

*NEW* M402 SMART PCC (COMPATIBLE with M401/3) - Electronic Cigarette | Electronic Cigarettes | E-Cigarettes | E-Cigs from Smoore

so I think I've decided on the...

Joye 510 Manual
($50.00'ish)- I'd like:
2 atomizers (black)
2 batteries (black)
1 charger
a few carts and perhaps some drip.
I'd also like to buy a PCC (in black) (around $36.00)

I was wondering if these prices sounded reasonable before i go ahead and buy.

I just have a few questions about it.
One - How easy is it to drip these carts? Would i need a needle drip or just a dropper?
Two - is it possible to swap out the LED color, or perhaps have I missed a link on the site about modding the looks of your pv?

- again, you guys are the greatest!

No they don't sound reasonable. Check all you you listed at LiteCigUSA. And you did right by saying 'Joye 510', an earlier poster infered all 510's are the same... they are not.

From what Ive seen already. If you want more vape than you may already be getting from your Pg solution try a Vg solution. I ordered a nice 54mg/30ml bottle today off TotallyWicked and also a 50ml Ag dillutant. I'll let ya know how it turns out. I'm expecting 3x30ml bottles from this with whateva flavours I add and about 6-8 months use at a cost of £30 overall. Reasonable

7.5% discount code : DA563
I don't know about the UK, but here at WalMart undiluted glycerin USP is about $4 (£2.46) for 177ml. I add some glycerin, but no more than 10%.

If you haven't already ordered, cignot has an awesome no box deal for the Joye 510 PCC kit. 2 bats, 2 attys, the PCC, 5 carts & 2 5ml btls of your choice for $65 including shipping.

Just FYI. And I couldn't recommend the ladies there any higher. Their response time is mind numbingly fast! Incredible level of customer service.
