Looking for a new 50w mod

So I've been using an MVP 2.0 for quite some time now based off of recommendations from this forum. I love it, its still holding up great, but i'm ready for something new. A friend of mine got an IPV 50w mod that I tried, it was ok, but after watching a few reviews and reading a few more i'm not sure i want one. I've also looked at the sigelei which seems like a great device. So my question to you guys and gals is this, what should I go with? Are there other devices out there that I should look in to, or is the sigelei the way to go?

There is the iStick 50 Watt, 4400 mah battery, fires down to 0.2 ohms, nice size/form factor. Just another one to consider.

Can just say that my Sigelei 100w plus has been very good.
Never used an IPV mod or the 50watt Sigelei.

If the Sigelei 50 is anything like the more powerful 100 and 150 watt devices, then it would be fabulous. I have the isticks and MVP 3, which are great as well, but the Sigeleis just seem "better." I don't know why.

all good suggestions above I dont do clones but Ive seen good reviews about the performance of 50 watt DNA rip offs but same normal gripes about mod build quality. uneven edges caps dont sit flush ect... I think V3F or 3VF is the sight I see tossed out alot

I also have a Zero clone with a Yihi sx300 chip that's 50W. I love it. But, yes, Sigelei and ipv are good mods.

Whatever you get, just make sure it has a battery life relevant to your usage. I made the mistake of buying an iPV 2S and my battery doesn't last long enough for on the go since it uses a single 18650

+1 on the IPV 2 mini. < $65, 70 watts, curved/rounded profile, small form factor, USB on-board charging - AND - uses an easily swapped 18650 battery.

Dual batteries is nice; just remember that the mod is bigger and heavier.

Pay attention to your vaping habits. Do you really need a hundred watts or more? Most folks should be able to make do with an out an about 50 watts or less. At least those that do something besides work in B&M.

What device are you using? Not all mods work in all circumstances. I use an IPV2S most of the time. One battery is plenty; I can charge it via USB when I am in the truck, or by my laptop, etc. Never had it go down on me. I also vape high ohms, usually over 2 ohms. Not all mods have both voltage boost (increases voltage) and voltage buck (decreases voltage). My lowest voltage is 3.6 volts, so I need to take that into account in coil design. I think the Evolv chips and the Yihi 350 will do both, but do your homework on the minimum and maximum output voltages; again, this will depend on how you like to vape.

Lots of discussion as to the best. I just want it to work for several months or more.

Do you want a mini or full size box. I would say that the best bet for a box would be the Sigelei 100 watt plus dual 18650 batteries and if you aren't super sub-ohming at like 60 watts the battery life is really good. I run my 150 watt Sigelei at 25.5 watts with a Kanger Sub-tank mini @ 0.40 ohms and get almost 20 hours out of the Sony VTC 5 batteries. I shut it down when I'm not using it and it helps with battery life. Just so you have an idea how I vape, I vape 9ml of juice through the Sub-tank mini in a day so 19 to 20 Hours on a set of batteries is doing good.

My current set up is an MVP2 with a 1.8 ohm coil in my kayfun clone or a 2.2 ohm coil in my Nautilus aspire. Not a fan of the aspire, when it works its great but i have flooding issues on a regular basis with it. The Kayfun will last a day maybe a day and a half before i refill it. The aspire, when it isn't flooding and leaking, will last 2 days full. I only need to charge the MVP every other day, for now. I'm still smoking cigarettes, working construction makes it impossible to vape unless i'm on break, otherwise i'm sure i would go through the tanks faster. My ultimate goal is to find something to replace cigarettes completely. With the MVP ive cut back by over half of what i used to smoke.

I'd put in a vote for one of Sigelei's products.
The 50W box is just as nice as my 150. I use it more than my iStick, it feels much more solid.
The iStick is still a great option, I may just be spoiled.

While I don't prefer the form factor of the IPV minis, they're made well and perform great. The fit and finish I feel is a bit lower than Sigelei, but it's entirely a preference.

My MVP2 hasn't failed me yet. However, it's 2600mAh. For not much more $, I got an iStick 50W (actually 2 ) that are 4400mAh!!!
I already LOVE my iStick 20W and 30W. Perfect size, ease of use and for the price, I don't think they can be beaten.
