I currently use a Protege w/ 510 @ 3.7v w/ the 14500 battery. I am looking to retire this one to backup duty to get something that is reliable and durable.

I love this specific setup and have accessories for it, hence no desire to switch to something else.

The Super 6 from Super T is awesome, but I could not get comfortable with the switch location, so I had to return it.:(

Does anyone have any recommendations? My 2 primary criteria at this point, in addition to the above, are 1) a reliable switch that Just Works and 2) an adapter that isn't hokey and ill-fitting.

TIA.

Hi Thyestean, that is a fantastic review, many thanks for posting it! Have you continued using the ProVape? and if so have any of your thoughts on it changed?

I have been trading emails with Mary at VaprLife on the VYPR-510. She said today they are going to post the VYPR-510 with no batteries or charger for $69.99 so I think I will give it a try. If that one doesn't work out for me, then either BB or ProVape is next.

Thanks for that. Yes I have been using only the ProVape-1 for 6 1/2 weeks now and no nothing has changed since writing the review. It has performed flawlessly and unless I hold it directly under a light at just the right angle I am unable to notice any blemishes in the finish even after a few more drops since then.

That does sound like a good deal. Whatever you end up with I hope it works out well for you :thumb:

I've had my Provape-1 for 2 weeks and more then satisfied I spent my money well. I wish I knew more about "how" to use it. So far I've used the caps and fill them with juice saturating the filler. I know many users drip but I'm worried I'll get the atty gunked up and I don't know how to clean it. Anyway, still experimenting. Just bought the 501 adapter and atty for it based on info on this forum that the 501 is a different animal than the 901. Still learning and thankful for this forum .
