So, had a nice copper stingray from FT which worked great. However, I left the airflow screws in my kayfun and now it's stuck on the mod forever... Looking for recommendations for a new solid mod (SS or copper) for under 50$ (will probably buy it online so you're more than welcome to link to an Eshop). Help me because I am about to do the same mistake for the third time and buy the Stingray X....

Did you try putting your Kayfun base in the freezer? This has always worked for me when I have metal parts that get "stuck".
Yep. Basically the airflow screw gets unscrewed and get stuck in the grooves on the stingray topcap. It is unscrewed all the way now so I guess it's lost. On the bright side, Now I have a Stingray Kayfun hybrid!!!
How bout a Stingray X. I have one and I end up using it pretty often. Works really nice with the hybrid cap as long as you atty can accommodate the hybrid cap.
btw the stingray x doesn't have groves for this to happen again. And I had to space my kayfun center puns down to use the hybrid cap. But overall it was well worth the money and trouble to make spacers.

OP, I was browsing around on some shop sites (cause thats a bad habit i have once all the local b&m's close and the employees go home for the day) and happened to see a stingray top cap on vaperev. Was like "didn't i see a thread with someone saying they messed one up?"...
Anyhow, just thought I'd toss that out there, yet they are $45 over there.
