Looking for a new mech

I am looking for a new mech to replace my Nemesis. I have the SS Nemesis clone by Atmomixani. It was dropped about 6 feet onto concrete and it bent the button and lock ring. It is still functional after a bit of hammering but I want another mod to back it up.

I am looking at a Stingray X as a possible option. I have a brass steam punk mod with the gears engraved on it but it is too heavy and the button is a bit of a pain. It is going up for sale soon I think.

My wish list includes a self adjusting positive post and a magnetic switch (I dislike the button style switches where you need to press them in the center of the lock ring like what is on the Steam Punk yuk!). I would also prefer it to be one solid tube unlike the Nemmy. Brass or copper is preferred as I love the way they look. But, SS is ok. I like my mods to be simple as dirt. I never use a kick but I do swap between flat and button batteries.

I love the look of the Stingray X but the button issues concern me and I cant seem to find much detailed info on them yet.

Clones are about the only way I go usually. I have only had a few bad experiences with them and my new mod will most likely be a clone of some sort. I always use 18650 in my mechs and either a Mutation X, Igo W, or Protank 2. I would like to try a Plume Veil next however.

H cigar stingray clone is good, then replace the button magnets with a fat daddy vapes magnets and get a hybrid style cap... Doesn't get any more self adjusting than hybrid


Also smpl mod is real simple hybrid mod with a button style button but I highly recommend it to everyone...

I just got my HCigar Stingray X two days ago and finished the build on it yesterday, and I am very pleased so far. The button was a little crunchy first few times it got fired but has smoothed out significantly. But as the poster above stated once I get a little more saved up I would like to get the button magnets from FDV.

Of course with as little as I have used it my opinion may change over time, but right now I love it paired with a Mutation X RDA. It's an awesome vape with good flavor and really chucks the vapor when I load it up with 100% VG. I am running a dual coil build with 28ga Kanthal, at about .6 ohms.
