Egrip... awesome, small, powerful all in one solution that has great flavor, 8-20 watts regulated power, 3.6 ml capacity, and it will allow for rebuilding coils in the future if you get the RBA base later on. Stock coils are about $3 each in bulk or Aspire BVC coils (non-Nautilus) work great if you swap firing pins. Gets awesome reviews.

No love for Blu here. Tobacco company + overpriced + fake reviews + Chinese liquid + EU TPD 2016.

Blu UK are supporting the ban of refillable e-cigs in Europe.

However - good news! :)

If it's good enough for you, we can find the same product from the same "factory" at less cost and less moral dilemma.

What's not to like. Win - Win! :)

Blu UK uses the same batteries and tanks available from Kanger (Kangertech). If Blu USA is the same, it's an easy system to copy.
I haven't used a Blu since the old days but it's my understanding that Johnson Creek is the liquid supplier for Blu.

Makes sense.

Yes, it's bad news all round. Maybe I should have stayed out the discussion, but they are the enemy of 'free-choice' vaping and vapers in the UK.

They are selling refillable hardware, but are supporting single-use cartomizers behind the scenes. This is cynical stuff... get people comfortable with vaping (and not smoking) and then Blu (UK) hit them with massive carto bills sometime during 2016.

I'll stay out of it... before I go too far. :)

I guess I didn't realize Blu was available in the UK. But after doing some digging, it appears that Blu was also just sold to Imperial Tobacco.

I can't help but say, there are much better battery choices than your blu e cig. I haven't read this whole thread so I don't know whats been said but blu running any tank is not going to last very long battery wise. They are bad enough with the cartridges. You can achieve a much better battery life (by far) with a different set up. I get three full days out of my unit without the need to charge. Don't you want something that will give better battery life and maybe more power? I just want to remind you that the vaping market is HUGE and they have so many good units available to satisfy just about every vapor. I did use blu so I totally understand the unit and for me it was a completely frustrating expirence. Why need two batteries when one charge on a good unit (depending on the unit) can last all day to three days? Before you decide to go this route (which I think will ultimately lead to frusteration) why don't you take a look at units that are available? I'm very certain you can find a much better vaping system. I'm only saying this to try to help. I just personally don't think the blu battery is a very good option. Yes it will work but how good? The small battery will be working over time and you won't get very much time on it. There are much much better alternatives. However, if this is what you want to do, I wish you the best. Just be aware there are easier, longer lasting, alternatives. Good luck. I'm just thinking you would have a MUCH better experience with a different battery.

Even their "Plus" battery, which is supposed to be larger than the original is only 100 mAh or something like that. When I was vaping the blu Plus, I would swap out the battery about 4 or 5 times during the day and this is using their Plus tank. One good thing is that it only took like 30 minutes to recharge the battery, either with the battery pack or the USB charger.
