I'm sure there's some on here, but if I type in RY4, obviously, it's too short. If I type in RY4 recipe, every thread on the forum pops up because, I'm sure one of the posters made reference to it.

I LOVE RY4, and love Vapables and Evapers versions, but it would be nice if I could pop one out of my own!

Thanks guys!

for 4 mls of nic juice, add

8 drops caramel
6 drops vanilla
2 drops Bavarian cream

If not sweet enough AFTER 2 DAYS add a drop or 2 of caramel, because I find that the BC is prevalent in this recipe. Reducing the BC does not help. Like wine good juice needs to mature :)

This is not my recipe, I found it on line, but it is the base of RY5.

Damn it Switched! I thought I had you there for a minute!! ;)

All joking aside, sounds good though! Whose flavorings do you use? I have PA's Caramel in the arsenal beneath the sink, but it was MAPLE, not the LEAST bit caramely IMHO. And, naturally, I'm the only person in the world, it would seem at times, that HATES Maple. :(

Sorry dear :(

I have used both Fa and Pa for caramel lately it has been Pa and I see no difference between the two. Post #59 of this thread might prove helpful. The entire thread is good.

Apparently it is the butter that is missing in the caramel, to make it taste like caramel. Butter rum would be nice don't you think?

This is RY4ish without the tobacco flavor but you could always add it.

For those using Dan's excel file:

Mixed at 10% Flavor
Caramel (Capella) 50%
Vanilla Custard (Capella) 37.5%
English Toffee (Lorann) 12.5%

For those who want a complete recipe:

5 mls at 10% Flavor
Caramel (Capella) 10 drps
Vanilla Custard (Capella) 8 drps
English Toffee (Lorann) 3 drps

NOTE: For a sweeter mix, change your VG/PG to 30/70

I make this one often and it is very sweet.

If you look in my calculator, I have a recipe for it. The seedmans concentrate has a sweet base to it. i.e.

Seedman concentrate Commercial 20.0% 2.5ml
Caramel 20.0% 2.5ml
English Toffee 20.0% 2.5ml
Marshmallow 38.7% 4.75mll
Vanilla Butternut 1.3% 1.6ml

This will yield approx 13.5ml of flavoring.

I like mine with a tobacco base personally.

Dan,

Please define seedman commercial concentrate, which tobacco does it come close to?

Because this is such a hard mix to figure out. RY4 tastes different depending on the vendor. :)

That's what is crazy about RY-4.. I've been trying to figure it out for awhile and I think that I figured out what's been missing (as far as my taste buds).. The tobacco flavor for me tastes like Virginia flavored tobacco juice...

As far as my post, I was being a bit sarcastic with humor but since there are so many threads about RY-4 it still doesn't make sense that one thread couldn't just be for RY-4 and not 20... Then again, I'm a compulsive organizer *LOL*

I have to say that I find the 'commercial' RY4 has always been good for me, (with the exception of V4L's version..bleh), it's more of a case of liking that 'sweetness' that's in there but just not getting quite ENOUGH of it. It's that 'hint' of sweetness. I'm just trying to make the 'hint' into something more of a 'forefront' flavor. (If that makes any sense..)

The Seedman tobacco concentrate is suppose to be the commercial Malboro flavoring. I have not found another that is close to it. And yes I have tried all the FA tobacco flavors. I do like the USA Turkish flavor BTW. Might work in place of the sedmans. Have not tried.

Hum, I guess I won't ask you about virginia or burley then. If you still have those, would you do me a favour because no one else can Dan. Can you mix a small batch of 50-50 virginia burley for a comparison to the USA Turkish blend? I'm not a fan of Americain cigarettes although I do understand that, nothing comes close to tobacco in vaping. I would sure appreciate it.

As taste is subejctive, no other guinea pig can be used for this experiment :D That's as mild as I can put it. I now you are willing to sacrifice yourself for the community. ;)

Thanks in advance!

Make that two in the world, I hate maple :nah: But I recently ordered another caramel flavor that recently popped up on PA a candy caramel, so hopefully it'll be a more true flavor.

Yup, I've tried that Angelsluv, and it DID make it sweeter, but I found it changed the original TASTE of it.
Are you using Virginia flavored tobacco?? and Spikey's or Ikenvape's recipes??

5% marshmallow Lorann
10% 11MG Vanilla Johnson Creek
5-10% 36MG TW tobacco

**************************
Ikenvape's

I just tried a 50/50 blend of cuban and virginia. ICK comes to mind, no where close to the turkish blend that I love. I would not recommend it.
