I'm looking for what I thought was called a "third hand mini" but can't did it anywhere. It was a tool that had a base, a bendable arm, and a clamp at the end in which I'd use to hold my attys to rebuild them and have more sturdiness while building/rebuilding. Building on my mod has become obnoxious when I need both of my hands. Does anyone have something like this? What do you use to hold your atty while rebuilding?

I thought that would work too. I bought one. The atty just sits on it loosely. It is not held in place at all. I was a bit disappointed.

This is what you're looking for: http://www.discountvapers.com/agh-rebuildable-holder-base/

ETA: Sorry about that. Those looked just like the stand I got from FT that are not threaded. But, the website says that they ARE threaded. So, thanks for the link. That's a much better price than what I paid for mine.

I know the stand you're talking about, but for the life of me I can't recall who carries it.

I just use a threaded base or my ohmmeter, just like Btsmokincat.

This is what you're looking for: AGH - Rebuildable Holder Base

Didn't realize the ones from 101vape are not threaded. Mine is 510 threaded and holds my atty's securely.

With some luck, taking the top cap off of a mod will provide you with an excellent building platform.

... or you could pick up a bunch of these for next to nothing https://www.fasttech.com/products/1411/10007110/1579700

Be warned, tho... they don't have any 510 threading. Just a hole for the 510 protrusion thingy. I actually prefer it like that. Some don't.

You're right. They say they are threaded. I shouldn't have assumed they were just like the one I had bought from FT. Sorry about that.

Thanks for the link.

Hi as for a tool to hold your atty while you build it, harbor freight has this really cool tool it's like a helping hands tool it adjusts and has a light with a magnifier glass and two clips on each side that extend and will hold things in place. Pm me if your interested and I'll shoot you a pic of mine. It was only about 10 dollars. It's great for builds because the magnifier really helps you see what your doing with the coils.
