Hey, I was going to post this in the DIY section but I'm yet to raise my post count and didn't want to spam to get it. I'm looking for a vapor only recipe that contains no flavour or nicotine, but gives me a throat hit and vapor.

I'm currently unemployed due to being made redudant a few months back and since switching from hand rolling tobacco (which cost me around £10 a week) to e-cigs (which is currently costing me around £30 a week), I'm finding it difficult to pay for cartomizers or e-juice. I'm leaning towards DIY juice but I'd honestly like to kick the habit all together, but still have the 'smoking' experience with the vapor. However, I need the throat hit otherwise I don't feel satisfied as it were. I was thinking about VG and water but wanted other people's opinions on it as I can't imagine you'd get the throat hit with that alone.

Any help would be great!

Thanks

60 40 ish pgvg mix, while not a throat hit as we know it you will still feel something going in and out.
get your posts up head to diy, its cheaper than it seems. im at about a $1.20 per 30 ml bottle give or take.

the only problem is the up front cost. even if not using nic you still have to buy the pg and vg, might as well add a small bottle of unflavored nic and a couple cheap bottles of flavor in there too.

You should be able to mix up your own juice for $0.06 a ml. Once you buy what you need.

If you are using straight vg and you are not getting much vapor it is because straight vg is too thick to wick well. The vg is simply not making it to the atty to be vaporized. try mixing in 10 percent distilled water.
also - as others have suggested, pg will give more of a throat hit than just straight vg. The vg contributes to lots of vapor. Flavor will also help. Menthol, if you like it, would be my first choice to simulate throat hit. But other flavors with a bite might do too.
Personally I find juice that has been mixed with alcohol to have a little more th too. You might try mixing your vg with 10 percent alcohol instead of water. It should cut the vg for better vapor and just might give a little th too.

You could buy some strait pg and add vodka or get flash from flavorart.

That's the answer!

2nd'ed.

PG can be ordered in quarts from online stores and will last you a while. They also have nic and flavors if you want to go that route later. The nic base can be ordered in 100% PG with varying strengths and is flavorless.

You can vape plain PG. It does have some TH, although most TH comes from the nic.

If you're going to add "flash" you may as well investigate flavorings, IMO.
