If you already are into a battery platform and have chargers and stuff for it...
Maybe you can match up a mod you like to your stash of batteries/chargers.

If you're going to start over from scratch......

If 12.75 watts is high enough for you (the average range for VV mods out there), I highly recommend the Darwin. The mod can indeed do up to 12 volts with a 6 amp cutoff (if you custom built an awfully strange multiple coil atty you could prove these extremes...nothing in the wild runs it that way). Just note that the top wattage setting is 12.75. It's the easiest and most trouble-free setup I've ever had. Pull it off the line and go. No fiddling with batteries and chargers every day. Don't have to mess with meters, testers, and other battery stuff. Considering the price of batteries/chargers/warranties/etc...and that Darwin needs NONE of that to be purchased on the side It's not a bad deal at all. Charger is built in. Can be vaped as an in-line USB passthrough. Darwin batteries are rated for around 1,000 charge cycles and are well warranted, as is the mod.

If you need more than 12.75 watts in a well rounded VV mod for a great price...
Take a look at the Buzz Pro, or maybe a VVPV from the same vendor. I've seen reports of these supplying up to 15 watts.

To figure out the 'wattage' that you've grown accustomed to with your 6v setup...you'd need to know the resistance of your atty.

Here's a calculator that can help you figure all that out:
