Okay friends I was looking for advice on my next purchase. I have a silver bullet and I wanted to get some 3 volt batteries to stack so I can have a 6 volt device. Now when I saw the kick come out I'm wondering if I should buy that instead. I think with the kick I can get a steady 5 volts depending on the ohms of the atomizer I use. Is that correct? What would be the better vaping experience, the kick or the 6 volts?

Vaping experience is subjective. Many find 5 volts plenty hot.

I would not stack batteries and would go for the Kick instead. There has been a lot of discussion recently about the dangers of stacking batteries due to a couple of accidents.

You can experience various watt levels with the Kick. Many vapors find sweet spot in the 8-8.5 watt range. The Kick can be set from 5 to 10 watts. It works best with single coil cartos or atty's in the 1.3-5 ohm range. The vape is consistent.

Check out a couple of the big reviewers in the Video Review area. At least one covers this subject well. I just can't spell the name well--Pete Busardo?

I'm abit confused about what you're asking...but maybe that's because I'm pretty new to this also. MY understanding is the 5 volts comes from your PV. What resistance cartomizers you use will give you either a hot or cool vape. I have a link to Ohm's Law that I'll post for you.
Ohm's Law / Watt's Law Calculator

If you put in 5 under the volts on the left top, and 3.0 ohm under the resistance on the left bottom, and push 'calculate', you'll see that the watts under Power on the right is right at 8.3 watts, which is right in that "sweet spot" so many talk about. Hope this helps you.

I'm kinda new myself, it's been about 3.5 months since I became a vaper. My silver bullet is not 5 volts as I have a 18650 3.7v battery and I believe with the kick the battery you have to use for now is a 3.7v 18500/18490.

I would suggest either the ProVari mini or the ProVari regular if you want to go to 6 volts. That's the safest single battery device that I've seen in my short time here. Yes, it's expensive, but very safe! It's 'The Cadallac' of PV's.

Edited to add: It's expensive, but ALOT cheaper than any medical bill you might incur by stacking batteries!

The Kick would not only be better, it would be safer... 6 volts can be harsh at times. With a Kick you will be able to dail in your sweetspot... You will get the same hit through out the battery charge, and run times will be longer then a 2 battery stack. Remember you wil need some AW 18490 IMR batteries to go along with that Kick..

A Provari would be the best option though...

The big advantage with the Kick is that you add more protection instead of reducing protection from accidents. This alone makes this a no brainer in my book. The only disadvantage to the Kick that I have found is that it has no ability to distinguish between a single and dual coil carto/atty. It also maxes out at 10watts or 5.5volts.
