I am currently using an Evod. I am using either 1.8 or 2.2 ohm coils as I find that 2.5 just doesn't do it. I am vaping 18mg juice.

After about five weeks using I find I cannot get through the day without a few cigarettes. I am down consistently to five a day which I am quite happy with having been a pack a day smoker for 30 years.

I am looking for recommendation about juice or equipment I can try to get me over the hurdle. I do have a couple of bottles of 24mg juice on the way to me as well as coil building supplies.

Any help would be appreciated.

You could try a protank2 with an airflow control base on it. It's a nice upgrade in quality of materials used and vapor production without having to get different coils. I've got a custom cola blend in one now. 50% cola bottle candy, 25% Regular cola flavor and 25% menthol cola and it's kicking .... Oh and get yourself a Variable Volt or Watt battery. A Vision Spinner 2 is a nice upgrade over the little ones the Evod's come with. You can crank the power up and even get those 2+ohm coils heating quicker.

I found myself having those few cigs during the day especialy the first one of the day and around 4:30 and before bed time. I went to 30mg nicotine level and stopped all but the first one of the day. after smoking 3 packs or more for 25 years That felt good. I did the one smoke everymorning for two months. Then I found a flavor that I wanted to vape when i woke up (double apple/tobacco at about 26mg) and have not had a smoke since.
Now I have gone down to 18 mg nic in the morning 12 most of the day and 6 when I feel like pluming (cloud chasing).

Bumping up the nic was mentioned, but because the Ocelot is dawdling -- you might want to look into AWT eliquid (tobacco alkaloids). It's like normal eliquid, but with lots of extra things besides the nicotine left in. A lot of people say it helps them get over the initial craving where your body might be after other things besides just the nicotine.

Note -- I don't recommend them in general, as there are too many unknowns with them, but if you're struggling on that last hurdle it might help.

cigarettes deliver nicotine in about 8 seconds where vaping takes a couple of minutes.
your body will adjust to the slower nicotine delivery then you can be off the foul smelling cigs forever.
I recently started vaping with the Nautilus mini on a vision spinner (ok) and on the eleaf istik it seems to almost throw the vapor into my mouth with a close flavor to direct drip atty's

can be a tussle finding the nic level that suits you - Ive also found that there can be a difference between liquids with the same nic level but different flavours or from a different company seems to make a difference.

Using a rebuildable atomiser for me also made the liquid a lot more intense compared to a pre-made clearomiser.

Agree, both are great little devices for a small investment, which is why I bought about ten of each---

I find it is the morning where I have the most problems. I am planning on the 24mg for that when it arrives. I seem to do find during the day just vaping.

The 24mg should help immensely. Then drop down after a week or two, this method worked for me and many others.

Best of luck to you...!

Well done on just getting down to one a day! I found the only way I could do that was vaping 24mg I've now dropped to 18mg for the mornings. Since getting an istick with mini nautilus I think I need to drop to 12mg. I intend to keep 18mg in my volt e-cig with clearo for my first vaped with coffee in the morning then switch to istick with 12mg in tank for rest of the day.

My avatar is the istick with the mini nautilus tank on top (great flavour and vape from this tank but high Nic juice seems a bit harsher for me to vape so this set up I will use all day with 12mg juice)

But for my first morning vape I like to still vape higher 18mg juice and that seems less harsh using my smokeless image volts with their clearomisers. Check out smokelessimage.com for pictures of their gear and uutube reviews

First, I used to have to order supplies when I started. It's rough. My wife and I quite smoking when e-cigs were still looked at like they were magical by the folks that saw us using them. I have smoked 24mg juice for about 6 or 7 years, I just went down to 18 three days ago.In my opinion you should forget trying to lower your nicotine while changing your habit. I hear folks say they are making a plan to lower nic levels every so often with a goal of quitting nicotine altogether in mind. That's not bad but while changing your habit I would not worry about it.

I suggest these

eqdvns.jpg

an aspire bdc tank of any kind with a 1.8 ohm coil

and

2dayads.jpg

a basic ego-t battery. I would get two

When you first use them, put a few drops of juice in the atomizer before you install it.

This rig is about 20 dollars, it's simple and it will work. My wife uses it and has for about a year with no problems. I rebuild the atomizers but that is not required.

She changed from the evod tank. These produce better flavor and more vapor.

It's a simple rig, but I would hate to have tried to find and fiddle with the perfect adjustments while still enduring the switch. My wife will still not fiddle with options, hers just has to work well, and this does.

Thanks for this. It seem like the right way to go. Keeping it simple

Thanks

I won't be buying ten of each but four is not out of the question. I walk around with two in my pocket all day. Just in case. spare battery's charged at home and can charge at work if need be. I am a little paranoid out not having working equipment at the moment so spare's and option's are for me right now.
