Looking for an "at home" larger PV or Mod. HELP!!

Hello, I'm a semi recent convert from analogs, but since started vaping I haven't looked back. I use a Vapor 4 Life model and its been quite good as a every day PV. What I'm looking for now is something with a little more kick and bigger for when I'm just sitting at home relaxing. I've been looking into some larger models like the Inferno and some different mods, but there are just SO MANY out there I don't know where to start. I know I don't want anything super huge(atleast not yet) or too complicated. Money is also an object, not too expensive. Some of the mods I've looked at can run over $200.00 , and I'm sure they are some awesome vapor making machines, but are just to rich for my blood at the time being.

So if any of you wise beyond your age Veterans out here could help me out with some much needed advise I would forever be in your debt. I know nothing going to be as simple as screwing on a carto and puffing away, but if I'm sitting at home thats not really a problem. I just never knew how big vapings become until I started investigating on the web. I'm definately intrigued and see myself vaping for a long time to come and with hopefully a nice collection at my disposal.!! Thanks, any Help would be awesome.

LeCig offers the PigCig... Has the same threads as your vapor4 life with the same strength battery as an eGo.....then you could still use the same cartos.

It sounds like you are wanting a "bigger kick" from your upgrade.

That would mean either more voltage or a lower resistance atomizer.
I am not sure if KR808D-1 lower resistance cartomizers can be found, but hopefully someone will chime in.

Other than that, you might want to consider higher voltage.
That will accomplish the same thing as lower resistance (more power) but some say even better.

Alot of people are talking about the sparkplug.Look around for posts.They have them on sale for 29.99 somewhere.You need an adapter to do 808s but they have those too for like $3.

Wow thanks for the quick reply's!! I appreciate all of your suggestions and help. Has anybody tryed an INFERNO?? I was just looking at their site.??? Also do you know if I can refill my cartos from V4L, and if so how many time before tossing them?

I use one carto at a time and refill it 6 or 7 times then cap it and save to clean and refill later.

The Inferno is the same thing as an eGo/Riva/Tornado fat battery model.
But it does look cooler.

Since you are just starting out, on a limited budget, I'd suggest an eGo/Riva with a LR atty and a drip tip. Liberty Flights has pretty good prices for this (Riva batteries are like $12, for 750mah). A kit with two full rivas is only $30. Great place to start IMO. That way you'll have a good baseline when you decide to spend some REAL money on a higher voltage device.

The LR attys coupled with a 3.7V battery can give you *some* of the effects of a higher power, 5-6V device.

Again, we're talking bang-for-the-buck, check out the Rivas. If anything you'll have some really nice batteries to pass along to somebody else when you upgrade, and the 510 connection means that almost all of the high end mods will work with your hardware.

Gosh, I'm turning into a Riva shill <sheepish>. What can I say, they have really done the trick for this guy on a budget.

For me, the drip tip was indispensible, regardless of what device you end up with. You'll be at home, so you can have the flexibility of dripping and get some of the best vapor production and flavor this side of a feeder mod. Doesn't work when driving, but for home use I wouldn't be without it!

I've got some V4L cartos I've been cycling thru, off and on for about 4 weeks now. Use 1-3 per day, topping off with a few drops (soft tops or a drip tip you can remove are best for this). Next day use a different set of 1-3. If you get a 10-pack you can rotate like this and have less chance of burnout from overuse for a good few weeks if you are careful.

While the V4L cartos are almost all 808 type, you can easily run these on an eGo/Riva/tornado/inferno with a 510-to-901 adapter (which is what I use daily).

A friend of mine has one of these, it's also a great device for the price. The ability to have extra fresh "regular" batteries at the ready is a killer option!

Most definitely, 5 volt or variable volt is better than low resistence attys on small battery PV's. More consistent, lasts longer and just a better vape.

I would suggest the variable volt Darwin from nhaler.com or the 5 volt GLV2 from Great Lakes Vapor for better throat hit, consistency and battery life.

Since cost is an object why not go super cheap and get a boxmod. If you can solder you can get a true 3.7v or 5v rig for under $50 complete with batt's, atty's and charger. The last one I built took all of 1/2 hour to complete.

If you're not into a building stuff they sell them assembled too. Although they don't look anything like a traditional e-cig they vape much better.
