I've tried many RY4's trying to find one that comes close to duplicating the original from 2009 which I suspect is similar to Bloogs. The closes one I have found is Janty's.
That makes sense. I've got a bottle of Ovales juice here ("tobacco" flavored), which is made by the same company (I could make an educated guess on who makes them, but...). It's a very simple formula, using only a few ingredients, much like the original RY4 would have been. The Ovale/(and probably Janty) "tobacco" flavored, isn't very "tobacco" flavored, and has some intriguing similarities to the good RY4's - NOT that it IS LIKE RY4, just that it has some weird simularities
I was tossing around the idea of ordering some Janty RY4 & the Janty RY4 X, to compare/contrast/(combine!?!) the two.
Does anyone know if there's a better place/price to order Janty juice than the Janty USA site?

Does the Janty RY4 have that burnt/caramelized sugar taste to it? I think that's the element that I love most about bloog's.
I'm on my last bloog ry4 carto...and puffing ever so lightly to make it last (with the occasional suck it up long drag to engrave the flavor in my mind ), until the juice is available.

Must have missed your post. My bloog RY4 cartos caps were clear (just like the blanks), that does sound like something went wrong w/ that batch. Glad you contacted the company.

SweetPuff, from your description of the flavors....not something i would normally order, dont like buttercream nor cupcake, do like custard... but hey, i might just give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion and that great review, I am so jealous you found your "bliss" juice
Hey questions for you and geoff and others who have tried the bloogs ry4 cartos, do yours also come with discolored condoms(the clear plastic on each end)? Mine do, its a bit brown and in some cartos i notice juice has leaked out.....

As has always been the case with the original RY4, it is quite difficult to describe the flavor accurately. The original RY4 was always subtle but distinct which Janty has captured well. So many of the USA suppliers who try to duplicate RY4 end up making one flavor stronger than another and making the whole liquid too strong and over powering. Janty's RY4 is light in color like the orginial RY4. When I see a dark colored RY4, I know it will taste nothing like the orginal.
On Janty's RY4X vs RY4, there is a BIG difference. The RY4X has a very strong tobacco flavor and IMO is nothing like RY4.
Just got a tester sample of RY4 from mr-e-liquid (not in production yet), it's actually very nice, but nothing like the bloog ry4.
After mixing it w/ some mr-e delightfully caramel juice and a drop of ethyl malto and it's getting a teeny bit closer, but still no caramelized sugar taste that's so good in the bloog ry4. Getting closer but no cigar yet...anyone know of a caramelized/burnt sugar flavored juice? If that exists, it may be possible to duplicate the bloog juice afterall. Can you sense the desperation? LOL

I'd suggest BWB RY4 as well as RY5 from FSUSA (Its like RY4 with a slightly sweeter hint of caramel). The VaporRenu RY4 extract is really good (if you DIY) but it needs a sweetener like stevia.

Hey Sweet, so today i got my cupcake juice from tastyvapor.. ummm.... negative... its okay i guess, when i first opened the bottle to smell the juice i was like yummm!! but when i vaped it, i think the vanilla is a bit strong for me, guess next time if i order again i can try it without the butter cream, dunno, but i am getting tired of trying juices, god i just love and hate the bloogs RY4!!

When I read your post saying you ordered it...but didn't really like cupcakes or buttercream, I thought, OH NO...then cough is gonna hate it, b/c it really tastes just like buttercream cupcakes (but you already ordered and it was too late).
Not sure if this will help, but TV's juices take some time to steep and mellow...I would say, give a week or two, then mix it w/ any ry4, and possibly a caramel too, and you might like it a lot more (EDIT: In a separate mixing bottle so you can sell the rest if you still hate it) .
A friend of mine tasted the cupcake/ ry4/ caramel mix today and she loved it, but then she hasn't tried bloogs ry4. I hope that'll make it better for you. She's about to order a PV, so she might want to buy it from you? I'll let you know when/if she does, in case you're interested in selling to her.
I feel for you, b/c it took me 50+ juices and probably 30+ carto flavors to get to 3 that I really enjoy...it's a PITA and expensive! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you find your "bliss juice" and even more that bloog releases the darned ry4 juice that we all love so much! BTW, I just got a bunch of waffle from TV...I'll be happy to send you a sample if you'd like...maybe just maybe you'll like it?

I agree, it's not very close to the original RY4 either. The closes I have found is Janty's RY4. It is quite good.

It's close to the orignial, as I have never tried bloogs RY4. But I suspect that bloogs RY4 may be more like the original than most, so the two could be close in taste.

I've been playing with evaporating some juices off of foil with a lighter.
I've also been contrasting & comparing some juices via dripping on LR atty Vs ego-T
FSUSA RY4 is scary stuff. I first tried it in my ego-T and HATED it. It was sickly sweet, kinda like huffing molasses. I thought maybe the ego-T frakked it, or maybe I had a little of the previous juice (apple pie) that didn't jive with it. So today I dripped it onto LR. Still nasty- but taste is subjective, so, no big deal.
The deep color, and overly sweet taste got me thinking though, so I vaped it off some foil.
For ref:
Ovale/Janty (so distributed by joye, but origin?) 50pg/50vg tobacco (tastes nothing like tobacco though, and is perfectly clear)
vapes off foil totally cleanly. vapor trail along slope of foil leaves no residue, and liquid evaps off clean- no residue.
DK (pretty sure it's DK) RY4: no vapor trail residue, slight carbonized residue left from drop.
FSUSA RY4: vapor trail leaves thick white residue. kept re-doing it, couldnt believe what I was seeing. if heat is applied under the residue, the residue itself will evap/burn off clean. It may be a sweetener being deposited in the vapor trail. Drop left a completely opaque brown/black carbonized residue. Weird stuff. If youre using this stuff, clean your atty often.
(note: I'm not just flicking a bic directly under the foil and burning the juice off. I'm trying to keep temp down as low as possible. Moving the foil and chasing the juice all over the foil, avoiding burning it... because, as I found out early in the experiments a few days ago, ejuice catches fire real easily, and then usually pops off the foil, towards your face that you have pointed at the foil.

Hi SweetPuff: There are several threads on this forum from people having burning cartos issues from Bloog cartos. Maybe that burnt sugar tastes ACTUALLY is burnt sugar and not a flavoring.
