My favorite juice I have found so far is Upstomp's Crunch Berry. I love the cereal flavor (or whatever it is) behind the fruity flavors.
I'm not out to try to imitate Upstomp's juices, but I am inspired to try something similar. What I have in mind is something along the lines of that pineapple short cake dessert that usually has some variation of a dense cake on bottom with slices of canned pineapple and brown sugar (or caramel) flavor on top.
Any tips on what flavors I should start with besides the obvious pineapple? And probably caramel?
Lorann doesn't seem to have a "cake" or cookie type of flavor.
Anyone experimented with just caramel and a fruit flavor? Would a little praline work?
Again, I'm not so concerned with accuracy of imitating either an existing juice or even hitting an actual food item taste. I just want a juice that has the pineapple and caramel flavor with a rounded body that is sweet but not cloying. Hope that makes sense.
