Looking for either box mod or short tube to fit a 22mm atomizer on (Kayfun Lite, Aspire Nautilus, etc.)

Here's the deal --

(1) I don't care for the long tubes. Telescoping is a nice feature, but batteries in long tubes just make me think that something bad is going to happen to my precious atomizer when the dog, baby, or any other of a thousand things comes along to tip it over and watch it roll off the table onto the floor.

(2) And it has to look good with a 22mm atomizer (Kayfun Lite and/or Aspire nautilus), which isn't really tough, because a nautilus on an eGo with the "beauty ring" doesn't look THAT bad to me, but certainly not the best.

(3) I'd also like ~2000 mAh (give or take 500 mAh), so an eGo really isn't going to be the best for that. Extra points for standard, replaceable battery.

(4) I really do like the looks of box mods. I thought the MVP looked weird at first, but then it kinda grew on me. Then I saw the VTR, and I fell in love. BUT IT WEIGHS A TON!! And then it weighs even more if having to use the adapter for 22mm atomizers. I would like this to be something that is fairly pocketable, and doesn't weigh a whole pound after attaching the atty with 5 mL of juice.

(5) Building my own isn't completely out of the question, so DIY links could possibly be helpful, too.

(NOTE) Regulated -vs- Mechanical makes not a lick of difference to me. I'd like to get one of each at some point, but I just need one for now that will work best with the Kayfun Lite and/or the Aspire Nautilus.

I just saw that in another thread a little while ago.... with KFL "nano kit" and hybrid adapters. Still not sure what the hybrid adapters are, but this thing looks SUH-WEET!!

I have two provari minis. love them
I have a nemesis with a hybrid adapter and nano kit for kayfun.
It is so short yet vapes excellent!
I can put a kick in it and it is still smaller than the provari mini.

I'm kinda leaning toward both the VTR and the Nemesis (who makes the original? and how many clones are there?).

But I also ran across the NES controller + DNA 20 mod @ Littup Custom Mods — NES DNA20 Mod for ~$150. And, according to their Facebook page, they're accepting orders for their DNA 30 mods... https://www.facebook.com/Littupcustomecigs

I will more than likely hold onto my original NES controller until a later point in time, but they sure do look cool. So unless anybody has any better suggestions besides the VTR and the Nemesis clone (altho, which one?), I guess my question has been answered...
