Hi All:

I'm trying to get some Kanger 2.6 ohm resistance cartos for Monday March 12 delivery.

Can someone recommend a Canadian vendor? None of the ones I have found (including local sponsors here) seem to carry the 2.6 ohm Kanger single coil cartos, or do not list the resistance.

Some co-workers and I want to test 2.6 on our big battery mods because we all experienced the burn/melt taste on the 2.0 ones we bought.

Thanks everyone :)

capitalnicfit dot com carries them in both resistance (1.9-2.0) (2.7-3.1) and yes, Kangers do come in both resistances. They will get them out to you as quick as you need them. Also their coupon code for March is: mindfield

What Mod and at what Voltage are you getting a burned and melty taste? I received 25 Kanger Horizontal Cartos two months ago and though I prefer my Boges, I didn't have a single one taste melty between 3.7- 4.5 V and I have used 23 of them so far (I did some Review Videos.. I can tell you that they are a bit finnicky to fill, you really have to let them soak in for aboot 5 minutes after it is totally full but they work fine in/on all of my Mods.

Just trying to help. I can't see a 2.6 ohm carto working well at 3.7 V, nor would I want this experience to sour your opinion of 2.0 ohm hardware.

Three friends and I had a meeting at work to go over this, just in case my results were off (we're getting ready for a group buy), but yes it definitely got the melted taste with four different devices putting out 3.7 volts with Kanger 2.0 cartos. I personally loaded the cartos just to make sure they were nice and soaked and sitting in their tanks for 10 minutes before use, because I really wanted these Kangers to work - i LOVE the vape from these things.

Initially one of my friends with his GLV mini (and CR123 @3.7V) and Kanger 2.0 said there was no melted taste with his device and juice, but I definitely got it with my silver bullet and 18650 3.7 battery. Same output with both devices, so wtf hey?

So I made some unflavoured nic juice, 50%PG/50%VG @ 8mg. I went first, tasted the melt a little bit, and we passed the tank around using our own devices and drip tips. By the time it got back to me it was f'ing gross with the melted plastic taste, even with the guy with the GLV Mini. We were using it as one would normally vape - we were not trying to skew the test results by overheating the carto from extreme use. BTW all devices measured at 3.7-3.9 volts with my multimeter.

It was with 50/50 juice which is not even that thick.

Yes, GLV Mini guy tasted it too, which means his flavoured juice masked the melted taste.

So here's a test you can try, make your own unflavoured nic juice 50/50 and put it in your kanger 2.0 and use it normally for 5 minutes... Please let me know your results because we are so disapointed.

What initially tipped me off was the AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME vape I was getting with my first Kanger - lots of warm vapour, lots of flavour, nice draw - was vaping HEAVEN. Then ten minutes later my Silver Bullet stopped firing altogether - dead battery. Loaded a freshly charged battery - BAM - Melted plastic... :( :( :(

There were 4 of us that got the melted plastic taste on four different devices - cant be coincidence.

We ran other tests with 2.7 and 3.1 ohm cartos and the same devices (measured before hand with my multimeter) and the Kanger was the only one with the melted plastic taste.

Hopefully when CanVape gets my cartos here on Monday the 2.7 ones wont melt because DAMN thats an awesome carto...

Thanks for the heads up :) I'll go check them out now for the group buy at work.
